Who decides what constructive criticism and what's not? I get down votes for not being "constructive". Does this mean that I should elaborate my posts more? Hardly seems "fair" that seing that constructive criticism is subjective that a person who does or does not agree with a certain point of view has the power to deem said post correct or incorrect?
It is indeed subjective, it's kind of the point.
If you're getting mostly poor post reception and collecting red rep points than its the collectives subject way of saying they don't like what you're saying and/ or the the way you are saying it and are kindly requesting you modify your posting behaviors, i.e. less toxic, confrontational, condescending or whatever, not your opinions.
It's not very complicated and seems to be working ultimately fair from what I've seen when checking profiles.

You have a point there. I've seen people dv me just because I did it to them. These kinda things will definitely affect the FRS. Some guys don't see why I did it. They just do it to take revenge on me. And some peeps don't even tell me the reason for the dv. How can I correct my mistakes then, right? What do y'all think about it?Quote:

Specifically in this case if you get a pure revenge vote you can report it. But in practical terms the trolls who are sending revenge votes probably have lower than 10 rep, so their votes don't count anyway. That's what happened in the one case someone tried to revenge vote me - he'd already lost his voting power (even before I downvoted him)
It's a vote from a user with either <50 posts or <10 reputation (the starting amount). In this case their votes don't count. It still shows in the list with their comment, and you get notified of it, but it has no effect on your rep score.Quote:
