Plan your attack better so some troops are dropped a few seconds earlier, or spells earlier. Problem solved.
Maybe 10 or 15 extra seconds would help to plan successful multi phases attacks. In one hand it may encourages more interesting playstyles than mass walks/bowlers. In the other, there are very skilled players who claim that 3 stars are going to be too easy. Too casual lol, they need to be the only top 5% who handle that
I may was well say it before someone else does. This will allow more Queen walks to be carried out. Apparently they are overpowered.
The extra 30secs should be brought back for th10s and th11s, especially with so much being there.
Anyone can say "plan your attack better" but how many times can you actually say where the way you planned It, is the way it happened? Where's wbs don't go a different way or your queen hits that wall instead of the tesla zapping her. Th9 and below don't need the extra time, if not th10, then definitely th11. The extra time just gives the bit more hope of 50% 2* and not 49% 1*.
I have come up with a strategy to free up endless hours to "plan my attack better":
1. Get a divorce
2. Quit my job and move into mom's basement
3. Put my 11 and 13 year-olds up for adoption
4. Make youtube videos about my awesome 3 star attacks
Does this work?
Might as well make the world a better place by bringing back DE storage zapping while we are at it!
I agree that SC could add another 15-30 seconds just to see the impact. They could even implement it as an event for a short period of time so people wouldn't go crazy if it were removed..
But this really needs to be in the Ideas and Features Request subforum....

That was a long time ago as I am sure you can remember. The game changes and things are added, buffed and nerfed to stop things from "becoming boring" so the re-addition of extra time may not be quite a irrelevant as you seem to lobby.
10 to 15 seconds to plan a 3 star attack? What game mode are you talking of? In war you can plan for hours, when farming you only care about 1 star for the bonus and loot. Who needs a second star? When pushing you are talking about 1 max th11 vs. another one which very rarely results in 3 especially without a customized army and you only gor for 1 with optional 2 as it is the 0 stars that really hurt.
For the 30 seconds in war: We dont need them. It is already too easy for th8/9. TH10+ does not have a time issue with all the fast moving attacks like valks and bowlers.
What is really limiting my 3 star strategies at th11 is the limited number of buttons. You only have 14 buttons. If you have 3 heroes, cc troops+spell and rage/jump/poison/freeze you only have 5 different troops left. Take away 1 for wall breakers, one for luring (giant/hog) one for funneling wizards and you have 2 troops left.
Also there is a big shift from outside defenses (archer towers/cannons) to core defenses (inferno/xbow/eagle/queen). At th8 you only need the second phase as there are no primary/secondary targets for the kill team except for luring the cc.
At th9 you need hybrid armies
At th10 the core defenses are so strong you only need a kill squad, ut no backend troops.
Doesn't really negate the plan better argument if you run out of time. A stray wallbreaker or valks going around the outside is poor planning and execution and not time related.
Sure it was a while ago but an extra 30 seconds is not needed with the possible exception of at TH11. If you run out of time on 99% then look at what cost you the 3 stars instead of demanding more time. 3 minutes is plenty of time at TH10 and below and I'm seeing more TH11s being 3 starred too.
