when a leader or co leader starts a war search they can see if you are opted out, but sometimes it makes sense to put one weak base in to allow four other members to war

Communication should solve this right? If cos and leader opt a red one in for fill it's kinda obvious the red one does not have to war. The leaders could be gentle enough to ask before though.
If cos/leader put a red one in war and then demands the attacks it's time to change clan. So it's not a problem really.
