People who are takers and don't return the favor

i don't understand the condemnation of some posters who seem to expect a reciprocal service from everybody. This is a game and, if somebody helps me, I'm delighted. Likewise, I feel a little bit chuffed when I help somebody else. But, if I helped somebody else and they didn't return the favour I wouldn't cry over it!!

I agree with you. I help out when I can. And I can hardly ever help out with sugar or dairy boats because I need that for my own production. The only time I get annoyed is if I see someone who has thousands and thousands of boat points but hasn't even got the first co-op achievement. That tells me that they never help out with boats. And although it's up to them to play the game that way, I don't feel like helping them out as I know they will probably never help me or anyone else.

It certainly never occurred to me that anyone would get irritated by the item someone else was asking to be helped with.

Sometimes when I play this game, I wonder if I am participating in someone's sociology experiment: "If we set up these conditions for people to interact, how will they behave? And if we change this condition slightly, will their behavior change?" I won't be surprised if someone writes a dissertation somewhere sometime using data derived from this game.

This is exactly what I've been thinking since I started paying this game. I thought that it would be a great platform for someone's MBA thesis.

people who just takes and gives nothing back is something we know all about on the CoC side ;( so annoying. luckly i dont have anything on my low lvl farm that anybody wants for other reasons than helping me hahahhahahah

Kinda Sucks you can only have so many, After 100 players are following you the ones you have become attached to are kicked off the follower bar one by one with the new ones replacing them. In other words the players you like to & have been helping all along are no longer available for you to help, seems to me as though once you hit 100 followers they should tell the newbies there is no space to follow this person instead of kicking out the ones you were attached to from the beginning, I think there are some stupid calls made in this area of the game by the staff! Doolfnoj

I try to help whenever I can. However, Usually, I'll be one item short though, and I can't fill the box for them
But if I have the stuff, I fill them no questions asked.

What I also do is, if all the boxes are filled up and I see they have other boxes of stuff that I have, I'll buy an item from their shop to help signal them to come buy the rest from my shop. It works often enough, since people get the hint

but sometimes it completely fails because they take too long to get it from my shop and someone else will have bought it

Well, I think that some users need to recognize that each person has their own game and they have their own personal reason for not being able to help - they don't have the stock or it's just not good for their business/gameplay on that particular day. I don't think people should unfriend because someone isn't helping at a particular time.

I help my friends as much as I possibly can. I had made lots of money on my own and so, for a few months there my main goal was to produce in order to help friends regardless of if it was jams, sugars, dairy etc. They are products I could have made a profit on but instead chose to help people because I wanted to.

At the moment, I am trying to make more money again from sales. I always check to see who needs help but at the moment I just don't have the stock to help that much. I do make a ton of popcorns knowing that's something my friends can struggle with in boat orders but other than that for a couple of weeks I just haven't been able to do to much. Because my stock is low this means I have been more inclined to help lower levels IF a higher level is also asking for the same item i.e. yesterday two friends were asking for raspberry jams. I only had 2 and I gave it to the lower level user.

wow! that's a great idea! this is something I am noticing a lot when I go to help people so I will give this a go.
