Our clan just completed a war. We noticed the enemy clan had several war attackers leave the clan (bans?) and also saw a 14 day timer for the clan members to be available for war again.
Here's what we don't understand: there was a stop to their attacking lasting several hours, then they did 8 or more attacks after that pause and eventually won the war on %.
So, a clan that has a war suspension are able to complete their war despite having player(s) banned and suspended for two weeks?
Must only affect ability to be in next war but not effect current war status.
Its difficult to say, I just finished a war and they had 9 attacks left and it seemed that they gave up when they couldn't get any stars on our top 3. And their top 3 had already made both attacks.
Their software must do some kind of permanent red status you can't make green, but once in war it can't prevent them from attacking. those banned are auto kicked, of course, so they can't attack.

So the above does nothing to affect the non offending accounts in the current war.
They should add something to make it an automatic loss for the offending clan because most likely burner accounts were used so a high level account benefited.

How do you see the war timer of members in another clan? Can't seem to find it...

Edit: and I do think this is sufficient punishment for the situation where some new person is a modded and the rest of the clan doesn't know, but that isn't the purpose of the clan 14 day suspension. The purpose is to stop burner accounts and I do not think 14 days is enough of a punishment to stop that. That is why I think the suspension should grow after a certain number of times and also eventually reach a point where a clan with a certain number of modders banned is reset to level 1 and war record set to 0-0.

Ending the whole war would be a tad harsh for the other clan (not caught) involved as well. Between time zones or attacking strategies it would be possible your clan didn't have ample time yet to get the attacks in or you would still be behind in the war. In such case the war would be registered as a loss and a clan who had nothing to do with it is punished as well. The people who still wanted to attack might wanted to have some practice or work on stars or share in the winning war loots.
Yes it would work both ways if the choice is either suspend the whole war or not at all. You could also still lose a war after having the upper hand. But I do think this is the most fair. The players / members who were in the punished clan but weren't cheating themselves already get a severe punishment with the 14 day cooldown as it is also possible they weren't aware of the situation either. Since the cheater accounts were also banned you might have the benefit of them not completing their attacks if such waves happen to hit early on in your war. So yes all in all I'd say that would probably be the most fair situation. That is as far as you can speak of such in these types of situations.
If you must know then send Billius a private message and see if he's willing to respond. Setting the war log public and announcing this as such is not the way around a name and shame either and certainly not appreciated.Quote:
