Clan War Ban - Question for Mod

I dont know the answer to this one since I don't have first hand experience in this case. I guess it is possible that it would be too complicated to suspend current wars in such a way to allow the "honest clan" do to their attacks while having the clan on suspension not do their attacks.

Ending the whole war would be a tad harsh for the other clan (not caught) involved as well. Between time zones or attacking strategies it would be possible your clan didn't have ample time yet to get the attacks in or you would still be behind in the war. In such case the war would be registered as a loss and a clan who had nothing to do with it is punished as well. The people who still wanted to attack might wanted to have some practice or work on stars or share in the winning war loots.

Yes it would work both ways if the choice is either suspend the whole war or not at all. You could also still lose a war after having the upper hand. But I do think this is the most fair. The players / members who were in the punished clan but weren't cheating themselves already get a severe punishment with the 14 day cooldown as it is also possible they weren't aware of the situation either. Since the cheater accounts were also banned you might have the benefit of them not completing their attacks if such waves happen to hit early on in your war. So yes all in all I'd say that would probably be the most fair situation. That is as far as you can speak of such in these types of situations.

If you must know then send Billius a private message and see if he's willing to respond. Setting the war log public and announcing this as such is not the way around a name and shame either and certainly not appreciated.

I am also curious how to tell if a clan is currently serving the 14 days ban? I looked at profiles of a banned clan someone had mentioned, but none of the profiles show a timer.

There are more than one clan with 14 day timers on right now in our war log. The octopus was busy. I'm not here trying to spotlight anyone and I don't believe in breaking Forum rules to name and shame anyone.
I was just curious as to whether this was the way the 14 day suspension was supposed to work or whether it was a glitch.
