I have camouflaged all machines with pretty fruit trees :)
I conceal some of my goats. They used to be completely hidden, because I used to be slightly afraid of them.
But then I realized I wasn't afraid of the goats, really, as much as their depiction on the goat-feed bags. (That goat-human chimera weirdness is unsettling. :straightface: ) So now, I give most of the goats a clear view.

I'm like Perky, I have rows of fruit trees covering my machines... especially the soup kitchen. I also have a row of trees in front of the smelters that are in front of the mine. And another tree covering the little fishing net next to the dock.
Hat maker upper left corner. I put trees in front of it so now I have a hat tree occasionally.
Nothing hidden on my farm. It's all very transparent. No fake decos, no alternative machines. Period. :)
It be nice if SC would fix that useless upper corner someday.

I've got more machines mostly hidden or partly obscured by different types of trees than I have ones showing. I've also hidden most of one cow pen because I've only one cow in it so all that blank brown dirt needed balancing out. Hid most of the dog house - too much bright blue. A lot of stuff is 'hidden' by simply never having acquired it in the first place! No goats or goat pens. Only one chicken pen. Only two cow pens. Only two pig pens. Only one sheep pen. On the other hand, I liked the donkey house with the pretty aqua roof and sunny hay so I put it by the horses and didn't get the donkeys.
I put my two year statue in town in the upper left corner which mostly blocked out the donkey on top. I wouldn't have done that if it had have been the cow on top. I don't care for the donkeys or goats and still haven't gotten a cat either. I like some of their antics but the snag tooth and tongue hanging out still puts me off getting one.

So, to answer your actual question...nothing deliberately, but the Orchard does tend to obscure things at times, but not so much now I don't really bother with the visitor event anymore. I'd hide all the 'barbie' machines, but it's too much of a faff seeing what's on the tables & re loading them as I try to keep them running all the time, if I didn't keep them running I'd hide any machine that wasn't 'old school' farm machinery.
I use friut trees to hide some of the machines. I don't have all the deco items out all the time. Seasonal ones only come out of storage at the appropriate time.
I hide the grocery store. Once Tiggs said she thought it looked like a monster, I couldn't not see the monster!
I don't hide anything 😁.
Although there are a few machines I'm not too keen on , I find if their hidden , I tend to forget to fill them .
