Learn from online 3 star attacks

Do you watch online attacks and try to duplicate those attacks on similar base? Sometimes I will see an enemy war base identical to one featured in online replay. Do those replays help you 3 star a base or is it still too difficult? I am looking for feedback from TH11 only. Personally, I like to study online replays. There are tons of replays out there showcasing a great variety of bases. I have bookmarked many of these attacks for personal references.
