Drop Rate Events

I thought of a neat idea that would be awesome and probably be extremely popular with active players. Maybe every month or so have a drop rate event so when you harvest crops you get say double or triple the amount of saws, axes, BEMs, SEMs, LEMs during the harvest. For example I have about 112 plots and I get 1-2 items per harvest. During this event I'd get maybe 3-5 items per harvest. This event could last maybe 24-48 hours. Thoughts?

I like the sound of it, however, we do get increased multiples of hardware with the global events already.

I like the idea, but it would probably mean the Daily Dirt is 100% wheat for the duration of the event. I guess for 24-48 hours that wouldn't be too bad.

I'd love it, but it won't make SuperCell any money so it won't happen.

Newspaper would definitely be a wheat filled mess but like I said this would be a short event. I think it would be very helpful though.
