Each clan can nominate a "defender of the clan" or "clan guardian". This player will be able to conduct a limited number (1-3) revenge attacks per day to uphold clan honour. This is especially useful as a defensive strategy against high level players that farm lower level players who would have no chance of getting even with their powerful attackers.
In turn there can be a league for the TOP Clan Guardians for a little more competition. Win:Loss ratio, absolute number of revenge attacks won and / or resources, trophies could be used to sort the Top Clan Guardians. This will be reset every two weeks, like the rest of the leagues do. The resources gained during the revenge attack will be given to the player who was initially attacked (aka the little guy) whereas the trophies lost or gained will be to the account of the "clan guardian".
This will not only increase clan v clan competition, but will also add an element of teamwork to the game that is currently missing (big brother comes to the rescue of the little guy).
The Clan Guardian can consult with team mates to see which "victim"'s attacker has the highest loot available, to gain max benefit from the revenge attacks. Unutilised revenge attacks are lost at the end of each day.
