But he wasn't punished till after they "fixed" the revenge loop.. He was punished for doing the same thing that Jorge is doing... Finding clan mates, and getting free shields....
The difference was that the revenge loop could be exploited over and over again, whenever it was required. It could also be removed pretty easily and the logs would have been self explanatory.
Stopping the cheap shields from happening is going to be extremely hard and almost impossible to quantify.
The only safeguard we have against it is the condemnation of the community, but even then we have most of the top clans indulging in it and we see loads of star struck fan boys and girls on here defending the practice and congratulating a cheat.
How is it going to be stopped? How many trophies should be removed? How can anyone judge what is a cheap shield and what is not? The only way I can see is to introduce restrictions on clan hopping, but even then they have 'sister clans', 'feeder clans' and 'farmer clans'. They also have cross clan friendships and it will be pretty much impossible to police.
I hope Supercell have something up their sleeve, because, even though most will never get there, the top is an aspiration for most. The knowledge that the promised land is gemming troops and spells, hour waits for matches and cheating sort of puts a dampener on the entire game.
It seems this debate has largely two sides
One side think Jorge has done something amazing, the other that he has cheated the system, and potentially the top of any leader board are clans who do not play the same way as the rest of the community.
I noted from the previous page or so SC have put up a post on Facebook congratulating him for 4000 cups so There you have the response from SC.
They are not going to comment on this thread as it is too hot a subject for us and not for them, why throw into the discussion when this will eventually lose its wind, we will go back to playing as we did and the top clans will continue on.
I don't honestly believe SC see this as a glitch/ cheat / manipulation as to say so would mean they would need a fix. And there possibly is not one - so why comment when it would upset one side of the debate and potentially lose players.
He is the first to 4000
It's a fact but one that may leave a sour taste with some people. There are always people in life who get away with things and we just have to accept it. That is what is maybe happening here too

I think Khan you have hit the nail on the head. We don't make the rules but try to play within the confines of what we are given
Some get to play on the fringe and use rules to their own advantage. Not just Jorge but also all those in the clans that do this type of workaround to protect their status
We should not be pointing our finger at Jorge but at his clan and those clans at the top who utilise these walks rounds for their own benefit

As has been referenced before in this thread, the exact same rationale for taking cups off the numbers guy could be applied to this. Supercell gave their stance on underhand tactics that allowed players to avoid attacks.
Ducking the issue and hoping it will go away is hypocritical and smacks of double standards.
flammy ur such a nerd!
