How interesting. I don't have this or I haven't been observant enough to notice it. I will be checking it out as soon as I log back in. I to always used the "the crops haven't grown, and the same machines are idle" theory when checking to see if a neighbor had played recently or was just inactive for a long time. If it does work I can watch Stans farm from mine and won't have to keep logging in to see if the grow task is done and ready for a replant. This will be a great thing!

I think there is a very occasional glitch. It almost always shows what the status was when they last logged on, but twice I saw a friend in another timezone have crops changed stage and pets running around to go sleep when hungry (as they do when you first log on of a morning) at a time I was sure my friend would be sleeping. When I joked a few hours later in messenger about the friend having trouble sleeping and going on Hay Day about 3 am the friend's time that friend insisted had slept the night through. So unless my good friend was embarrassed to confess insomiac farming, which is pretty unlikely in that relationship as it's been... I'd say occasional glitch is what Lea has seen too. The majority of times though it would be someone sneaking on for a spot of silent running.

Hmmm I don't think you can see this. The system kind of "takes a pic" of your farm right before u sign out. And that's what everyone sees when you are offline. Then the moment you log back in and your crops are full grown that's when everyone can also see them grown. And while you play then yes everyone that visits your farm will see your crops real time.
