getting banned for using English in English global

ther is a growing trend of indian and bd players getting together in the global chat and and mass reporting anyone that speaks English this is ridiculous and unfair. :mad:
i have been told today that "this global is for hindi only white pig, we have all reported you to ban u bye" i was banned from the chat . this cannot be left unchecked and for me is part of growing evidence that superce. DO NOT CARE ABOUT FAIR PLAY FOR ALL .all they care about is try to rip us off by increasing the cost of boosting. IM HAVE DELETED THE GAME AND WILL NOT LET MY CHILDREN PLAY ANT SUPERCELL GAMES I SUGGEST YOU ALL DO THE SAME supercell dose not have your interest at heart all it cares about is making money

I would suggest screenshotting things like this and sending the screenshots to support.

When the 12 year olds of the world band together .. they are a nasty bunch ..

Best advice is to stay out of the cess pool when they are all taking a dump..

this is ot working. i have done this and all u get is a stupid auto response. i have deleted all supercell games from my devices and from my kids devices. and now will delete this ♥♥♥♥ too.

While I agree that for an individual, the best thing to do for now is to avoid global. However, global is a critical part of clan building for a lot of players. If you remove global, you will drastically slow down clan development, which will reduce new players coming into the game, which will tip the scales to more people leaving than joining, which will in turn kill the game.

I think as toxic as global has been in the past, thinking that we just should all avoid it is not a working solution. Global does need some attention, and I think we should be careful to not downplay the issue.

Just avoid global, that's it. And at least for me and my clan, the only decent new clan members we ever got are the one applying themselves anyway :)

So let me get this right.

there are some unpleasant people in Global.

That somehow means that "Supercell do not care about fair play at all" (even though what happens in global has nothing whatsoever to do with game play).

And those unpleasant people are sufficient cause for you to delete the game and feel justified in banning your children form doing so (though if they are under 13 they aren't supposed to be playing it anyhow).

I think most people would consider this rather a strong over reaction, and would themselves just stay out of the irrelevance that is global.

Observe, that I don't advice you to stay out of global completely or that it should be removed from the game.

I do spend time on global almost every day and I do notice a few things..

Kids are kids and they will be marking off their territory.

WHEN the 12 year olds are taking a dump in the cess pool, I usually look at my world clock .. ah, it's "after dinner, but before bedtime" in certain parts of the world .. (the time changes a bit on weekends .. go figure ..)

Usually, when "bedtime" arrives, the water clears up and it's actually possible to have intelligent conversations on Global .. and I have "spoken" to several people from the forums on global, so you are not all staying completely away :-)

That said .. there are other ways to recruit people to a clan .. These Forums or Reddit are both good places to start.

This is another troll thread. It looks like the same guy that was complaining about the loons being to strong even against his Indian master base building buddy's bases.

I would say take a screenshot and post it here the next time it happens. Then Supercell will surely see it.

While I do think the OP has had a massive over reaction, global chat is not irrelevant it is key in recruiting and for growing clans I find it a little disturbing that a moderator can indeed call global irrelevant.

Affront has it right, if you see nothing but this type of chat just back out and reset your global or find a different time of day to peruse global.

Don't let the young ones spoil the game for you or your children.

West & Euro guys - Oh God , these Indians have invaded english global . They talk in their regional language & get us ban.

Call the OP a troll or overreacting or whatever but he is right. I've seen it happen. This is why Americans want to be separated from them in global.

Don't say to stay out of global. The "people" part of the game is what has kept it going.

You don't have to be snide. He didn't ask God to help. Maybe overreacted, likely didn't give us the whole story, but now you are making a blanket assumption about all westerners and euro's. Yes some people complain, but don't assume his feekings apply to everyone. Just like I don't assume everyone from India has such a negative opinion about the English speaking world.

Same old, same old. If you see the kids playing, don't engage them. If they gang up on you and you get banned, that it as a break from the idiots that know no better. If you cannot get enough chat in clan, find another one.

Global is critical for clan building? No it's not. It is the worst place to go for clan building. It's the quickest but I'll never recurit their again. I did for a couple of weeks. I don't need that junk.

Agreed, though I'd point out to people that you run into the same sort of problem on any MMO game with a Global/General/World/etc. chat. It's not a problem of Supercell not caring, but rather of people thinking that anonymity online gives them carte blanche to be the biggest jerks they possibly can be.

The answer is not to stay out of global, the answer is to fix the broken reporting process. All the report button does is enable bullying.

I don't know about currently but this sort of thing is exactly what was happening to native Norsk speakers for a while.....mostly after the influx once the secret was out.

Go to Forums to recruit? Pshaw. How can a level 2 clan recruit here? Go check out the forums pages, all huge clans recruiting.

Reddit is as much of a mob as here, so many strong clans.

Step down from the high horse and see that most clans need global to survive.

Our clan only adds a person or two every few weeks - all from global. Good people, or else they wouldn't be there.

I know, silly me for being in global- but every now and then I look over to see if there is anything interesting to talk about. Or at least I used to. I post response to a question a month back- friendly advice. Was hit with the "can I join your clan" from a TH7. I should have simply ignored the request, but I responded with, sorry, but your TH level is a bit low. You wouldn't enjoy wars here. Look us up when you get a little higher.

Nothing more, nothing less. I didn't get smart, didn't say anything derogatory. The response was curse word filled, followed by the, lets ban cna! He's mean and doesn't like indo players! Huh? Seriously? Worse yet, was he somehow got a few lemmings to chime in and gang up.

Last time I've been in global. Cross that off the growing list of things I don't enjoy about Clash.

I go on global many times every day and due to my dumb legend badge I am constantly asked to join my clan, add them as a friend, etc. I reject dozens of them every day. In 4 years I've been banned once.

I was banned once. I posted about it. Most didn't care. I screamed into the wind and the shrieks died in a tumult of relative silence. It happens.

I am a one ban ever kinda girl. I am in global getting asked for address info, fb info, and other bizarre things often. While never being rude, I do fire back. I also am in a high level war clan that many ask in to with low success.

I still am at one ever ban.

But perhaps, deep down, they all know what a sweet creature at heart I really am? Yes. that is it right there.

My experience is similar to yours. My clan is over 3 years old. We have never retained a member from recruiting off global for more than a month. Not one. Have tried several times and finally given up. I'm sure some clans do. Of course, some clans offer free co.

I dont want to report OP on mere speculation as he is already crying about Indians reporting him.

I m sure there r more intelligent people around here who can guide me if this is racism , as in my country , we dont have racism based on colour so i m pretty weak on this subject.

I'd say the racist is the person he's talking about, who called him "white pig".

I would suggest that Global be closed down and replaced with a recruitment functionality, eg like the social tab but where you can see clan recruit messages and reply to them via a structured form. This would eliminate random chat. If people genuinely want to have an intelligent conversation about the game they can come to the Forum or go on a Line App, GroupMe, Band or other third party apps that can control and boot the idiots and trolls.

Global was a good-faith attempt to let players talk about the game. Unfortunately, too many have turned it into a sewer pit. RIP Global.

I just don't get why anyone cares what happens in global. It's full of the worst player base this game has to offer. Find a good, chatty clan if you aren't in one, and stay away. I can't remember the last time I even looked to see what was going on in global to be honest.

Maybe your the exception, who knows. I honestly havent put alot of effort in global recruiting. Usually just setting the clan to invite works better for our clan.
