Attack Strategy

I'm in Silver 1 with Level 8 Barracks, Level 8 Town Hall.

I'm not too great with attack strategies; the best I can do is search for a weak Town Hall 7 base. I have 180 troop population. Right now, I'm using 13 Giants, 1 Healer, 50 or so Archers, 20 or so Barbarians, and 7 Wall Breakers. I generally target the Air Defense first with Giants then use my Healer behind it then flood Archers and Barbarians. But this rarely works. Any ideas to help me raid Town Hall 8 or 9 with an army without dragons?

Assuming you have lvl 5 troops... You are not doing anything wrong. You may want to add another healer. I'm TH7 and use Archers, Barbs, and Goblins and have no issue raiding many TH8 bases. Are you failing on winning or gaining loot? At TH8 you should be mainly looking for loot and care less about trophies.
