Best troop.

What do you think is the best troop?

I'm confused on what you mean by best troop? Do you mean most powerful, the persons favorite? I love my archers but wizards are more powerful but I prefer archers.:confused:

I would personally say my 3 favourites is Archers, Dragons and Wizards.
After that i would say acctually Hog Riders, Giants and Ballons as a bit of a wild card :P

I decided to base my vote on the most logical decision (to me anyway, maybe others will agree)

Well first of all Farming for Resources is infinitely more beneficial than trophy hunting for your own village's well being and prosperity.

This immediately eliminates Dragons, Pekkas, Hog Riders, Golems, Wizards, Ballons, Witches and Valkyries because of their cost to and time to train. Farmers need cost effective armies, that take a short time to create to be the most successful.

This leaves us with Barbarians, Archers, Goblins, Giants, Wall breakers and Healers. We can immediately rule out healers, because while a useful asset to any army, they simply are not necessary to a farmers success. Next I rule out barbarians because giants already do what barbarians do, in a more battle efficient way.
Giants are a better meat shield, and can do considerable amounts of damage in large groups with out having to worry about splash damage decimating their power. So simply put - barbarians are too fragile at town hall 7+ which is where you will be spending most of your time as a clash player. Leaving us with Archers, Goblins, Giants, and Wall Breakers.

Now, when I look at these last 4 troops I'm looking at my Farming army I regularly use as a Town Hall 8 Clasher.
However I realize also that with out this one pivotal asset to my army, most raids would fail.

So the award for best troop - goes to the Giant.

He allows your archers to be shielded from splash damage, takes out wizard towers near the storages - which will decimate your goblins, and allows your wall breakers safe passage to blow up as many walls as needed

I'm choosing to answer this with my personal favorite - the troop I just happen to like the most. And that'd be the minions. They're very entertaining. :)

Actually, barbarians are better meat shields against most single shot towers.

Valkyries are my favourite. They are good aswell
