So from what I'm seeing mods have now started burying all the engineering threads in this subforum instead of letting them stay in general where they have been forever. Should we take this as a hint that SC let mods know they don't care about engineering and the mismatches they cause? Is that the reason mods are trying to mute the conversation by burying it all of a sudden?
Between engineering threads & the ones about high level clouds, nothing else would have space in General.
Since this is a pretty well trafficked sub-forum, I don't think it's being buried.
Normally engineering applies to war. However the vast majority of Clash players engineer (build beyond what they can themselves 3*) their base to protect their loot. So in that regard maybe engineer threads could stay in general.
There is an engineering thread every hour or so on general. Its gotten to the point where its almost spam. Before closing or moving a thread a mod explained why he did it. Also, engineering is adressed towards war so the war sub-forum is perfect for it.
As an added bonus, we have enough engineering threads in here and we honestly need no more. All points in favor and against engineering have been discussed to death and all you see is players getting emotional and insulting members.
I've got zero problem with this to be honest. If SC wants the forum free of those threads fix the problem. As it is they seem to have just accepted they will never be addressed and are now just cleaning the threads out.Quote:

They are closing threads in addition to moving them. The last engineering thread I saw in general they didn't even bother to move, just closed it and said go to clan wars sub.Quote:

"engineering" is a real thing, of course and was a MUCH bigger deal before the October update.
But it's becoming a complete bogeyman for every complainer who wants to blame it on why his clan lost a war.
Almost without exception, the clan that's complaining........... has engineered bases. Some combination of th3's/defenseless at the bottom, 9.5's, or eagleless th11.s take your pick.
Which is the reason why they are drawing engineered clans.
I think it's better. But have still been matched with engineers. Honestly feel free to go back through my threads I don't complain about this constantly or anything, but the fact that it is all of a sudden being banished from general just stinks of typical SC ♥♥.Quote:

If your clan is still running into engineered opponents then there's something that you're doing with your roster that's causing it; a few months ago that was not necessarily the case.
