How do I private message ???

I have no idea how to private messege I can reply of someone messages me but I can't send one to someone first how do I do it and I don't mean messere there wall thing I mean a private message help me plz

You can tap the name of the person you want to private message. Option to view profile, pm and add friend come up.

Or you can go to Notifications, inbox, select new message and type the name of recipient.

Does happen for me I tap there name and the profile pops up no options ....

Also keep in mind some members have changed their settings so they will not receive private messages which may be another reason your having no success.

Nick [SuperCell] for example has changed his settings so he does not receive private messages.

Guess I'll have to write down everyone's name and do this method the other one does work for me thanks

Hi Mandella, if you are not using a regular computer, you may not see the option to private message. You must access the full site for that :)

I'm confused and concerned reading this thread, since my understanding from the FAQ is that Supercell does not allow private chat.

Hello and welcome to the Hay Day side of the forum.

This is a very old thread, but the discussion is still relevant.

The subject is private messaging, which relates to the forum only; private chat does not happen in-game.

If you are in a neighbourhood you can chat with your team members through neighbourhood chat; everyone in the hood will see that chat.

On the forum it is possible to send private messages (PMs), provided the intended recipient has not turned off their PMs (that can be done in settings - general settings).

If anyone ever receives a PM that concerns them, there is a facility to report it to the mods.

You're correct. Supercell doesn't allow players to contact each other privately in their games. But we may do so in the forums by using private messages.

Thank you very much for the explanation. Really sorry for my confusion, I thought this was about the in-game chat. I'm relieved :)
