The best analogy is a bowling league that uses handicaps, really. The engineered clan is similar to a bowling team that intentionally plays poorly to set their handicap so they have a better chance to win the league. They are sandbaggers.

Nah, I'd rather take pride in my work knowing I came into the match honestly. However you are partially correct. Engineering leads to ugly wars, usually for the non-engineered clan.

No need for an analogy then, the mechanic you speak of actually exists. SC puts recent war record into the matchmaker (I think the effect is weak, others think its strong) so sandbaggers can theoretically lose every other war to get better matches. Who's trying that? Nobody.

I'm glad you find such fulfillment in how you've chosen to upgrade your base in this game, I guess. As to ugly wars for engineers, surely you've seen all the threads about it? It always starts out with "oh my god, fix the MM Supercell we got a horrible match!"

Then we take a look, and OP's clan is engineered.

Give credit where credit is due. Sc did solid job of reconfiguring war mm. Alot of these current complaints r jokes (sorry if that sounded harsh but its the truth) is it perfect? Of course not but to think war mm is still broken? Come on man lol
