Sorry but that is an incorrect analogy. The NBA is fair. And yes some players are better than others and some teams are better than other. But essentially what an engineering clan is doing is plain and simple an exploitation of the MM. Lets say All NBA teams are like our clans. You have a variety of players on each team some great, good, etc.. Now what engineers are doing is fiddling with the court not the players. So now lets make the hoop 8 ft for the engineers instead of 10ft. And just to add more injury lets increase the length of the court for the enemy team. Moohahaa! Now just for the fun of it lets take half of the enemy team and put college basketball players there. So now you have half NBA half NCAA. Now that is an analogy of what an engineering clan does. This is not about teamplay! Its about the exploitation of the MM system. That is the plain and simple explanation to this.

If you have legit bases...no defensive and no town hall 3 and no .5 more times than not you will get an even match up. If you used rushed bases or any other trick to get the matchmaking in your favor you run the risk of being over matched

I bruised my face facepalming so hard at the analogy. You cant make the court longer for thr other team in basketball because it'll just make it longer for you too. Adjusting the hoop wouldnt matter because you switch sides at half time. I guess you could lower/raise respective hoops at halftime to keep advantage. However thats all beside the point because manipulating the court like that would be cheating and engineering isnt cheating in the slightest...

If the other team chooses to field college lvl players of course they'll lose. Engineers are simply paying top level players less than they are worth to get around the pay cap. Not cheating, simply doing their best to win. The other teams could do the same but their players are too prideful and wont take a paycut so theyre stuck with less top level players.

That said, both basketball and clan wars are team effort, and with a good war plan/coach you can beat a team even if your players might not be as good on paper.

It isn't like paying top players less. Engineering is like intentionally making some players have weaker skill sets in order to face easier opponents. That doesn't happen, which is why the analogy fails. The teams in the NBA all try to draft or sign the best players they can. They don't intentionally make their players weak in certain areas with the hopes of facing weaker teams.

Actually that's a pretty good analogy. Engineers are playing moneyball - putting a lot more effort into roster efficiency, using more brainpower and discipline in the offseason. Want MM changed to make it less effective, keep the game more casual? Largely done in October, ok sounds like you want more done and maybe SC will oblige. But calling engineers cheaters is silly.

Because most of you are only Familiar with NBA

Let see other sport analogy, for example look at profesional Cyclist, they have sprinter, climber, Time trialist, Classic specialist, track specialist, all of them train differently, and have very different body build and they know they will have very apparent weakness compared to other type of cyclist, yet all of them is very succesfull in exploiting the edge

most anti engineer and the engineers itself only look at gross engineering like .5, defenseless, that is not a good engineering to me.

The real engineered clan crafting every single base with specific offense and defense while avoiding unnecessary items will always reign clan war, like #6aymartians, etc, it is war after all
