Just like last year, the theme very much overstays it's welcome.
SuperCell and others justify it as "Winter" as opposed to Christmas, but it's clearly a blend of the two and still here 4 weeks post Christmas.
Nick said they'd taken the seasonal stuff out if the big updates so they had control over it...seems a shame they're not using that flexibility.
Snow is seasonal
Hats & scarves are seasonal
Splash page is not - that's a Christmas tree, not a winter tree
Santa hats are not - Santa is now sitting with his feet up for a bit
Personally, I think the Supercell team believes that as long as THEY have to deal with winter, WE have to deal with winter.Quote:
