Clan war - moral dilemma

We are currently facing a war that the enemy has padded the bottom with 2 th8, a th7, and th5.(we have 2 th8) It has given them 2 Townhall 11 with eagles /warden to our 1 TH11. Its not devastating, we can certainly win if we attack well, and they aren't 'awesone' attackers. I'm mad to face a manipulated roster. I really prefer good gamesmanship. They have an open war log, and I am tempted to send someone to a clan they just battled and review their war bases and attacks from that war. Moral dilemma.. Lol (15v15 war)

If you think they can cheat and you can't within the confines of the game is say there's a personal issue lol. Even support replies back with "all is fair in war" hahaha might as well make it into an epy of game of thrones

The more I think about it, I might have my mini (a very respectable th9) just join their clan, and observe them warring us, then congratulate them for the loss! Lol

I always accept new members during war! (not prep) I let them know, How we are going to beat them!

That doesn't sound like padding, that just sounds like a not-great clan that isn't especially selective. Plenty of clans run a wide range of TH just because that's who is in the clan. If they really wanted to pad, those should be TH3s.

I Know what you mean OnyxDS, but they are a lvl9 clan, with a decent war record. And there clan is large enough that they could have added stronger players.

Right now, we are running a very mixed roster. Ten of our top 15 are out of commission. Some are on active duty at sea, some are on extended vaca (me), two are extremely ill.

Life happens sometimes.

Piling on... recruiting isn't always that easy. The more serious and disciplined we get about clan wars, the fewer new recruits we find who are willing to abide by our rules. (And these aren't really so onerous--attack two reasonable targets, with good troops, is the essence of it.) Then subtract off several regulars who are on heavy hero pushes and unavailable more often than not... Then life happens on top of all that...

I would love to run larger and more ♥♥♥♥geneous wars, but our clan just doesn't have the numbers right now.

Maybe not even manipulated. They just have 2 lower than bases. Hardly even manipulating anything

Why do you think the are padding? The 7s & 8s seem reasonable and the 5 was so they didn't have to drop 4 clan mates from war.

now if they had 5 TH3s at the bottom, that's padding
