I gemmed my TH from 8 to 9. I was wondering if my base was premature. I know I'm in a low league, but that's because I'm farming resources ATM. It's hard to find good resource raids, but not impossible. I don't want to start over, I've put too much time into this game. Any ideas?

You dont have to restart, but you are very premature. I would say put all your gold into level 6 walls and defenses, and put all the elixir into troops and army camps.
Not as bad as some of the ones out there make sure to upgrade your splash damage, max out troops and army camps
That's what I'm working on now, but its kinda hard to find good raids.
It is way to premature due the fact that your wall and defensive building are way to weak. Focus on those two first.
Should I put my walls more primarily around my storages to keep my resources?
You should be spending your resources as soon as you get them so no, your exposed storages won't matter if they have nothing in them.Quote:

Yes pretty much i might be able to actualy win in a raid against u but I wouldn't raid u because of the mortars and wizard towers x bows don't intimidate me much
You think that your are scared of those wizard towers and mortars? get used to it man, those are really low level, once you get up on the charts then you will think back to this moment and say that you would raid a base like this any day.Quote:

Yeah I don't like wizard towers because they are pretty much better mortars but any way I'm just referring to the walls when I think I could deal some damage
My attack power is already above average for my level. Golems, witches, Pekkas, etc.
Youre not gonna need any of those for a while. Just stick with barbs arch gobs and minions until you get caught up.Quote:

Apparently not that bad, made 3m gold today and upgrading mortars now. Anyways thanks for opinions guys.
you are very premature. like they said, keep working on your defenses. good people made the mistake of rushing town hall before. it will take you very long, but you can make a rebound if you work hard enough.
I'm doing okay at the moment. Upgrading all my mortars to level 5 right now. Once those are done I should have enough gold to bump up some wizard towers to level 4.
Its not that bad, I can see you making a comeback. First off raise your trophies because you wont find much loot at that range, I suggest 1500-1600. You mentioned you're working on splash which is great maybe after that you can invest a little gold into some wall upgrades.

Dam... Well first you want to upgrade your offense, forget defense for now. Why? because you cant farm with a weak offense. Dump your gold storages outside your base as well as your TH and move the elixir storages more closer to the center. Then put the CC at the VERY center. Once your offense is maxed out farming will become much easier.
I suggest using hannibles TH9 farming base when you get your 2nd xbow because it worked wonders for me (never lost more than 100k with it) and when your offense is maxed out, or pretty good start on those walls and get them to lvl 6. After this point you should be able to know what to upgrade (splash then point defenses like cannons and archer towers)
Also go up in trophies, your too low to get decent loot. 1400-1800 is a good range
If I raise my trophies that high, I'll get consecutively raided and lose a lot of resources.. At this trophy range I'm almost never raided.
Should be at around 1300 trophies at least. If you put your town hall away from all your defenses, you shouldn't lose too many resources, and at 1300 trophies, you'll at least see some Town Hall 8+ so the loot penalty doesn't hurt you too much.Quote:

Your fine as long as your willing to grit your teeth through the first few months off being a premmie. Prioritize splash defenses and get them to lvl 6, walls to lvl6, and upgrade everything else. Get all your farming troops to lvl 5 such as barb, arch, gob, giant, wb.
