Why the Interest in Seeing Who is Online In Clan?

Lately there have been a lot of posts about seeing who is online in clan.

I do not understand why.

If they are online and are silent - there must be a reason. I can think of....

1. They aren't actually online

2. I just screwed up an attack that I planned out perfectly and six people got to watch me mess up. I am angry, I am pouting, and I do not want to talk. I want to watch the reply, maybe whine in global. But if my clan knows I am on, I might get "Nice try Cila" and there is no such thing as a nice try. Hate that. I am in pout mode. Shut up. So they do not need to know I am lurking.

3. Perhaps they cannot speak - language barrier

4. They are anti-social. Those clashers that might request troops but never speak.

5. Some clashers don't want to talk. They are ok with saying "Hi." and "Nice attack" and "Thank you for being in the clan Cilakila. You are a breath of fresh air. Few clashers are as sweet and kind and amazing as you are."

So...

What is seeing that they are online going to accomplish?

The only perk I see to this is for clans starting out that they can see when the last time a clasher was on to see if they should have done a war attack. I used to get quite mad at the clasher that was on for the first ten hours of a war requesting for raids then disappeared for two days without doing attacks.

This is wrong subforum i am afraid, althouh it probably wont fit any subforum - you dont have idea or feature request, but you are only complaing about some others.

not complaining at all. wondering. And I am asking about Ideas and Features, so it seems quite logical to put it here.

I think there are enough complaints on the forums, I will make very few.

I will be the happy voice when I can. To be OMI's cheerleader, except for Clash cheering instead of him hanging out at a club.

Tell whom what directly? Or, if you prefer, tell who what directly?

It has to do with being the leader or being in a social group is my theory.

They want to know if others are online at any given to engage into conversation because they want to avoid getting bored. Even though the brain prevents getting bored in many ways, it's so active and such a wonderful control set ;)

I'm not sure either. Probably so they have an idea if someone is online and not donating to them. I don't think that it would be a good feature to have an online / offline indicator for that exact reason.

My donation numbers are normally 150% of my request numbers but sometimes I'm doing something like raiding for dark for an AQ upgrade.

Sorry, this time around not gonna make you those 5 bowlers cause I already gave you 25 today and I'm trying to get enough for an upgrade.

Don't think it's anyone's business if I'm on or not.

Opinion...Some "leaders" would love to have the all-seeing-eye on the activity in Their Clan buuuut when it meant the "leaders" activity was Also visible the thread and requests dwindled.

I don't believe it would do anything but drive players away...yet another opinion.

Yeah, if I want people to know I am there, I will give a shout out.

And I usually never stop shouting.

My guess has always been nooby clashers, likely kids too, the same ones looking for a gf in global, leading nooby clans that are full other nooby clashers and dysfunctional and dieing as they're all from that same awful global mentality.

As to the "Lately there have been a lot of posts about seeing who is online in clan." It's like herpes or athletes foot. It never goes away it just flares up from time to time. Someone must not be taking their meds as directed.XD
