Teslas, at seventy five DPS, are the best point defense a TH8 can have. With high ROF and DPS, they can wreak havoc on infantry, as well as bigger troops, especially with their 150 DPS against pekkas. Also, since Dragon attacks are focused around avoiding ADs, Teslas can be a nasty surprise, killing of the nasty lizards before they can touch your gold.
