When i was a lad, valks went in a straight line and did not stop or deviate for anything. You kids have it easy. They burfed them in October to become mindless harridans, swerving violently towards the forest - and freedom - at any opportunity. Nerf them now, and they'll be no better than goblins.
Just stop with the nerf troop threads. Valks are not OP. If you only see valk attacks, change your base design & upgrade walls. If too many people are using valks (only SC has the data), the answer is to buff other troops.
