Do they ever consider war weight when matching up? It seems like they don't. This last war I got matched up with a fully maxed out th10 and my th10 is a baby compared to that. I've lvl 9 defences, I did drop xbow down and the infernos. But why match me up with a max? Why not a new th 10?
War weight is used it appears in aggregate for the clan overall as opposed to individual bases. As such there are less likely to be perfect matches straight accross i.e. your mirror but the clans overall are likely to be very close in weight.

Yes they do. Infernos (in particular) and Xbows carry high defensive weight.
Plus, you don't really get 'matched up' with anyone. Its the weight of the clan as a whole.

I believe they have said in the past that the top of the roster is given extra weight in terms of direct matching.
IE it should be very unlikely that the top 1 or 2 are vastly different (eg max th11 vs max th10, although maybe a newbie th11 vs a max th10).
Offensive weight is also considered, although this is NOT reflected in the war map order. (Again, I believe)
You did the infernos, you're one of the big boys now.
As others have mentioned it does check the clan totals as well as the mirrors, so it might partly be to compensate for differences elsewhere (yes, that's a bad idea, but it's what SC started doing last March)Quote:

And lastly... if you've dropped infernos and xbows your defence weight at least is high. The inferno is overweighted, and you are already closer to a max TH10 than a max TH9. So although you might be at a big disadvantage in the war, the difference in the weights used to match is probably somewhat smaller.
What about heroes weight? My hereos were lvl 30 and his were 20. The only difference was my base was newbie and his was maxed out.

As a new 10 with infernos your mirror might be any one of the following - Near max 9, 9.5, rushed 10, new 10, mid 10, near max 10, rushed 11, worst case scenario engineered 10.5. As others have said a lot will depend on the rest of your clan war lineup.
The more defenses you upgrade the more likely the 10 across from you will be a stronger one.
