Good advice, however more and more these mid to high th9s are forced to hit lopsided th10s with ITs.
Of course, we're getting better against these bases, but they practically face roll us with their th10 max defense.
Hopefully sc gives us more info on their stance as regards sandbagging soon
I never knew that there was an exact name for these kind of bases...geez I have literally been spamming in the Bug forums for this algorithm bug that matches you with crazy unfair matches. First of I would like to start off by saying is that I do accept people that are rushed in my clan and second I keep getting these matches vs engineered clans....Not once in awhile but almost all the time. Right now as we speak we are matched against #9PRQ0VJG We have 2 TH 10 and 4 TH9 and they have like 3 TH10 3 TH11 & 10 TH9's at the bottom...I mean like really wth?? this is some really bad matchmaking....I would really love to see SC host a Championship match Non-engineered vs Engineered just so they can see what it feels like...
The state of wars has gotten to a point now where your victory is dependent on how well you engineer vs the opposite clan.
These are sad times.
I explained before there should be an option to select "competitive wars" in addition to regular wars. Engineered bases would not be allowed in the competitive wars and your Th has to have at least max defenses 1 below your Th lvl. E.g. You are Th8 you will be eligible for competitive wars if you have max th7 defences. This way clans can finally war fair and square and not worry about being disadvantaged.
Or SC could make it a simple rule that engineered bases are not eligible for war. You are eligible for war if you have max defences 1 Th lvl below you as explained above. E.g. you are a th10 than you are eligible for war if you have max th9 defences. So essentially there is still room for a 0.5 bases but the variation would not be lopsided to the point your clan knows that you lost the war before it began.
With all the attention this thread has gotten in 3 weeks seems this is the biggest issue that the forum community wants addressed. Im sure SC must notice this aswell so i would think more change will come and making the change incrementally is a wise choice imo, reduces the chance of unseen consequences and gives players time to adjust.
Maybe it's because we're not seeing real progress in this "yeah it got our attention and we're working on it". Just matched another 20v20 war with no th10 on our side and two on theirs with Valk 5 and bowler 2....I'm really thrilled about how exciting the top attacks will be 😑
