I think your problem is you've pushed defense ahead of offense on your TH11s. Your TH10s are being bullied by TH11s with far inferior defenses that you should be 3 starring.

We just beat a clan with an offensively strong TH9.5 as our #1. #2 through #6 were defensively strong TH9s with maxed out offense. The enemy had a full TH10 with infernos at #1, with decent TH9.5s at #2 & #3. #4 through #6 were strong defense TH9s. The bottom half was basically a wash. They had their streak of 8 wins broken because they could not maximize their advantage. War before that, we faced 2 TH9.5s against a maxed TH10 & 3 TH9.5s, & won.

I think when you get beyond 5 or 6 wins in a row, MM is putting you against clans that have an advantage and/or are clans that win at a very high rate because they are skilled and are very organized about assigning attacks. We don't lose to engineers who don't have a lot of skilled attackers & a lot of discipline on assigning attacks.

SC is factoring offenses to a much greater extent than they did before. Clans running lots of offensively lopsided bases are getting beat on a regular basis. Every time someone complaining about engineers posts details about the lineup, it seems like they are roster padding or have bases that have defenses ahead of offense. Guess what? Lopsided defense is a form of engineering, just one that puts you at a disadvantage.

Its not cheating but simply a way that people found to win wars more easily. When you keep facing engineered clans you really can't do anything but join them. Why should they get the advantage. I have encouraged all my clan members to rush their bases the smart way, or what we call the engineered way.

The problem is really simple, I speak for myself but I like improving my skills, learning new attacks and that's why i love CoC.
IF i'm a new TH9, I'm happy 3starring a fresh TH9 (with xbows)
If I'm a maxed TH9, I would like to meet maxed TH9 to see if I'm able to 3 star him, and at the opposite if he's able to 3 star my brand new base.
And the same for all TH, that how the game is the most enjoyable, and that's how skills/training become again the center of attention.
I'm not happy as a TH10 to attack and success on rushed bases.

The best idea that I've found on this forum is to have a weight range for each TH, and in this range you can find 3(or more) categories.

You should not be penalized to build defenses, it should as intended, make it rather difficult for the opponent to beat you.

So to all you war buffs saying oh its not unfair to try to get an unfair advantage to make warring easier for us, you can do it too all you need is a (second) account (you dont mind dropping when/if war ever gets balanced correctly) to jack up with little to no defense so that other aspects of the game alot less fun.

Yeah it is war, yeah you are trying to win. But stop the all is fair in war bull.

War has match making, the point of match making is to produce a balanced match in which both sides have an about equal chance of winning. That is what you sign up for when you hit that start war button. If we use a match making system it needs to be balanced. If it isnt balanced we should just throw it out and match clans randomly. Yeah you might got matched up vs a 25 person clan of all maxxed th11 as 10 th8s? Sucks to be you guess you shouldnt que till you have more people with higher town halls, but war is war maybe next time youll get maxxed vs a 2 person clan with th 4s.

Matching 5 max th10s and 5 0 defense th10s vs a mix of th9.5 to mid to maxx th10s isnt balanced and one side is gonna have a pretty easy path to victory. And this is something current match making can and would do.

If your to dumb or claim to be to dumb to understand why that is unbalanced le me lay it out for ya. Balanced clan attacks down their 1 hitting 1-2, 2 hitting 3-4 ect adjusting for preferred matchups. They do ok,easy 3 stars on the bottom 5 enemy bases cuz no defense. But since they are attacking maxxed defense versions of their own bases they get some 2 stars up top. The engineered clan uses their bottom 5 bases with max offense to 3 star most of the entire enemy clan, and has 10 attacks from their top 5 for easy cleanup.

War is about going in, doing your best and taking on bases that are tough for you to take on, and are designed to be that way. Leaving this much of a discrepancy in weight makes that alot more difficult.

On anther thread the final answer has been stated about engineered bases

everybase is an engineered base, pretty straight forward

some do offensive some do defence some do a mixture of the two

so the reality is if you lose you have been 'out engineered'

it's as simple as 1 + 1 you snooze you lose

Bravo you sir. I've tried to voice this rather sensible opinion...but it doesn't fit into either the 'engineering is cheating!' or 'git gud ya maxer nub' mindsets, so is ignored.

No one needs to advocate wholesale, seriously lopsided high offence bases.
But people still pushing their defence way ahead of offence are going to suffer. It's sad but true.
As it happens...probably suffer less than historically....as if offence is weak enough, you might have a serious defensive advantage.

They might get some, but not all.

The reality is that regardless of supercells position on making a lopsided base war matchmaking should produce a fair and balanced match, and it currently doesn't.

Using a minimum war value would be a pretty easy fix. If you are a th10 min war value is 3/4 max defense value of a max th9. Matchmaking uses your actual value or the min, whichever is greater.
