Why matchmaking needs a fix sooner rather than later

If you are blaming most of your losses on unfair matches you need to look somewhere else...

How is your offense to defense ratio? I guarantee your clan has high level def. bases but underdeveloped troops

(for example, a th10 with max defenses but 20/20 ish heroes)

2. th10 10/8 - maxed th9 point defenses, th9 army but got 1 extra spell unlocked
3. th9 10/8 - halfway maxed th9 defenses, both x-bows level 3
4. th10 10/5 - maxed th9 defenses, no x-bows or infernos, th9 army but got 1 extra spell unlocked

7. th8
8. th10 5/5 - th7 defenses, th8 troop levels, th9 army sots, th10 spell slots, heal maxed, jump level 2
9. th7
10. th9 5/0 - all point defenses down (~th5 levels), no x-bows, infernos or splash built, 4 lightning + eq and drags unlocked

enemy team:
1. th9 9/11 - maxed defenses
2. th9 10/10 - maxed defenses
3. th9 9/7 - maxed defenses
4. th9 6/5 - th8 defenses and th8 army
5. th8
6. th8
7. th8
8. th8
9. th9 13/10 - th8 troop levels, th9 troop and spell slots, no defenses apart from x-bows

Our #2 and #4 can take out enemy 1-4 without any effort.
Our #3 can take out enemy 5 and 6 without any effort
Our #8 can take out enemy 7 and 8 without any effort
Our #10 can take out enemy 9 and 10 without any effort

We still got 2 full th9 attacks from #1 and are already at a perfect war with zero effort.

The best the enemy clan can do is to get a draw and they need to take out a maxed th9 base with low level royals.


I would say this is a pretty unfair matchup.

Is it unfair or is it a result of the enemy's shortcomings? They have maxed defenses yet terrible offense levels. Whatever match they get is on them.

The matchup is completely unfair.

They got defensive advantage on spots #2, #3 and #8, we got defensive advantage on spots #1, #4, #5, #6, #7, #9 and #10.
We got offensive advantage on all spots.

It is pretty rough for the opponent however I would not blame the matchmaker. Blame the players for this particular match. They screwed themselves by maxing defenses and neglecting offense.

The only fair matches these guys would get is if they match another noob clan like them. also thats a weird engineered base the have

5 in 102 are bad? Well still a strong percentage that is good. I dont know why you are getting 20% bad matchups and im getting so few but from my experience ive developed a system that is working. Why one clan is getting very fair matchups and another isnt tells me its not in the matchmaking program but something someone is doing is having an affect on MM. Sounds like you just have to find out what that is. Its not engineering because my clan Ive been talking about doesnt engineer.
