I need Help with a good army comp for war please

I became a th9 about a month and a half ago my base is doing great as to getting things upgraded and my troops r going but it takes forever to get dark loot. I keep getting placed against maxed th9s and the lvl 3 xbows are killing me I struggle to get 1star most of the time. I've tried a wide variety of attacks and I'm not very successful when they have lvl 2 or 3 xbows . My dragons are lvl4, balloons lvl6, pekkas lvl3, healers lvl4, hogs lvl5, golems lvl3, vaylks 10 days tI'll lvl4, Giants lvl6, wizards lvl6, wallbuster lvl5, hounds witches and baby dragons still lvl1along with the minions cause I've never used the spells are maxed queen at 15 and king at 10. Any and all help is appreciated thanx.

Search this very subforum. With your troops, there is little/no reason why 2* isn't almost mindlessly easy & 3* shouldn't be rare.

Insofar as you getting matched against ~max TH9s, look at your war roster, for you should have an edge somewhere else.

Troops: get hounds to L2 asap. Loons are awesome/sick right now. Search YouTube for Cast N Blast---he has a series of attacks utilizing that strategy, as well as many others.

I feel like this topic was just discussed, so you should find it easy when searching

Ok ty. So should I upgrade my lava hounds before my golems then. I'm gonna gem my vaylks and should have enough dark loot by the end of the nite for either or.

If it were me, knowing what I know now and the state of the game (e.g. loons), yes, without question, I'd do hounds.

Ok so I gemed my hounds to lvl2 but I must be doing something wrong because i still only get 1 star on maxed th9s and 2 on mid th9s. If I knew how to post a video of one of my raids I would.I try dropping A hound on each side of each of the 2 ad then release 3 balloons on each defense behind my hounds but alot of my balloons die before getting to the walls and my hounds pop way to soon. Its frustrating because the videos make it seem so easy and I tried this over and over last nite for about 4 hr and got no better results and i kept going back to the videos so i know im messing up somewhere I'm using 20 balloons 4 hounds 2 lvl6 lighting lvl2 quake and 2 lvl5 rage. No cc is that what's killing me. I don't have access to any higher troops because I'm the highest in my clan. Thanx in advance.

I just started Quattro lavaloon with rages and hastes (22 loons, 3 hounds, 3 haste, 1 max hound and max poison in cc) and there is a lot of timing the spells along with placement of troops. It's not just spamming with loons after hounds. Practice in challenges, good luck.

Then do 4 lvl 2s and get max loons in cc, success comes from the loons getting around the base faster hence the 3 haste spells.

So should I not take out an ad with lighting and eq

Queen Pop Laloon (i suggest seeing cast 'n blast) and HPHB will take out a wide variety of bases even with low to mid heroes but both require a bit of practice.

If you have access to bowlers the HPHP "generic comp" is 2 Baby Dragons, 3 Pekka, 3 Healer, 7 Wiz, 11 Hogs, CC Bowlers, 2 each Rage, Heal, Poison.
