You can see the gold grab, elixir escapades, heroic heist numbers. Lots of farming but nothing different than any other acct.

I have not found this to be the case, I regularly get attacked multiple times before a shield. I however have come to realize that I don't have time to farm 2 bases.... and that is what I think my biggest hurdle is. With a defenseless base if you don't have time to raid with it you will not get too far very quickly. Collecting and upgrading only worked til th7 then I had to start raiding.

Actually both side have extra attacks up top since engineers give up an easy attack by a very low th. The bottom gets 2 attacks also. Thats what i do vs engineered bases and then my top get multiple shots at the top so the advantage that people think is there is gone.

I had a decenseless long before that update. I beileve that SC made that update to get people to upgrade their offense since a lot of people back then stopped at dragons. Then after the march update many including me upped their offense to add miners and bowlers. The SC switched it back to bring it back. SC admits people stopped upping their defenses.
Ive never said it wasnt an advantage cause it was. I say it wasnt an unfair advantage but a strategy. As my signature says i play to win not see how tough i am. I will use the most effective strategy to affect the outcome. I play smart so i dont lose often.
Its a question of strategy and my the best strategy win. If SC changes it again i will adapt again but always play to win.

You lose the same amount as you would on any other acct. lots of 200k gold/elixir and 3k de raids against me. No big deal. I get that back quickly when farming.

It usually ends up less than my townhall 9s and 10s. I don't have to re-arm xbows or infernoes.

A defenseless account is not for the casual player that builds up by collecting from their mines and pumps only. It's only viable if you farm by raiding.

In reality, the lazy player that upgrades only using mines/pumps is going to progress slower regardless of whether they max every defense or upgrade none.

O I defo understand y its done n it is a strat I admit. Just not my style but everyone is different. Even tho my remarks might seem negative towards engineers I am simply talking facts. Its not like I dislike engineers. I recognize that style of play is legit just its not respected by me. I have no problems with engineers bc I usually put in maxed or near maxed accts so I avoid em usually so no biggie to me. I understand both sides of the argument tho n I feel both sides r more or less right in their views (minus the ridiculous claims lol)

So true as all games should b that way. Reward those who actually play or pay or both lol. Y reward super casuals? No hand outs request plz. Its embarassing.
