Lol I have same in my clan. Hes hardcore farmer n had misperceptions but now knows more n improving. Just needs experience is all. He sits out till war skills r up to par but learns quickly n I kno he will get it down quick

better ask him to push to Titan league, my clanmate highest thropy was only high champ before, but now he almost reach TItan, then he can practice using war army all the time, and put him in a feeder clan with low accts, so he wil improve much faster, lol

Hes been in titan awhile already lol. His mindset about game was incorrect hence the struggle n im showing him what needs to b done to become a better warrer. Thank god hes not a emo sensitive dude n can handle constructive criticism lol if u didnt notice I try to speak realistically n factually which in turn can sound harsh but he knows my intention is to not degrade but to help. We r all adults n not little kids n can handle constructive criticism. No know it alls in clan who can accept truth n not b babies n cry

Lol we tried feeder clan to have more pressure free wars but didnt work put. Although we love war we r patient which explains our low war totals. I just recently warring myself lol. Im not a gemmer so I became a hardcore farmer sacrificing wars but now since im maxed I wanna jus focus on war but rest of my mates not ready yet so I wait for them. In meantime I try to show what it takes to become a solid warrer. Baby steps. Rome wasnt built in a day. XD can say so much more but too much writing involved lol plus as much as I criticize others I also criticize myself. I realize I still need to sharpen up my skills also

if He is in Titan, then he should have the basic funneling skill, so it should be easier transition for him to a 3* mindset of war, i was wrongly type my clanmate highest was High master not as a max th10 with maxed heroes, not high Champ, lol

Experiences of turning th9:

As expected life as a defenseless th9 has been super easy thus far. Still getting 15 hr shields n having no problems with gettin resources n keeping em. To b continued.....

Lv 53 in masters2 n apparently warnings engineering a dless acct would get harder once u th9 doesnt seem to hold true here. Aq ug nonstop thus far n already have enuff to ug her again once she wakes up. Already working on legos as rest of walls should catch up to skulls very soon. Done this all gemless with no boost or instant. Only 88 gems away to get fifth builder.

Ok now I hear making engineer bases dont get hard till heroes r high lv. So exactly at what lvs do they have to b for engineer base building being harder bc I dont c it yet. To me its been super easy n way faster than building balanced bases

It's viewed as difficult if you go for the single cannon and no walls type accounts where the attacker doesn't have to use 30% of your army space to 3 star you. Those accounts will complain it's hard because they can go through a few defences getting 3 starred with no shields.

If you build it in mind to have enough defences and walls to force attackers to use that 30% troops threshold then it's easy and sometimes it attracts a lot of nub attackers that gives you wins, or at least means you won't lose much resources.

TBH, I found the shield update very beneficial to my engineered account, I have one of those accounts where there are enough defences and walls too force the attacker to use enough troops to give me a shield. Under the current shield system I can get 5 attacks under a shield, under the TH snipe rules, I had to raid in sessions for it to be profitable otherwise I would lose what I gained from one attack.

I think people that continually perpetrate the "engineered bases are harder to build" mentality are still stuck in the TH snipe era of thinking or really don't have enough defences/walls to force players to give them a shield.
