Well I'm a half-maxed town hall 7 at 1900 trophies. Should I drop and farm until TH8 or stay up here? It is getting harder to attack now and I rarely win defences. :confused:

I would max out TH7 then push up, it's hard enough as it is with TH7 to push, no need to disadvantage yourself by only having a half maxed base
Yes, at TH 7 trophies really don't matter. What you need to do is max out you whole base and wait on the throphy pushing for the later later THs. IMO trophy pushing is really pointless if you don't gem, because the important thing is to farm. Good Luck!
As a farmer, trophy is only a number. All u need to do is find a range that u can farm comfortably, and it's a matter of experimenting.
In general, lower trophy count means easier farming, but not too low until all u see are THs 2 levels lower.
But if u wanna trophy push, i would leave it to others to advise as i'm a noob in that area.
I'm a TH7 in Crystal III, and there's about 400k available in each raid. Problem is, I just can't get to it. :P
