Thanks. My idea is not about "punishing" engineered clans or "giving maxers the advantage instead," it's about crafting ways to provide fair and equitable matchups to ALL clans, regardless of their clan composition, TH levels, offense/defense progression, maxer/rusher, etc., etc.
I want a system where EVERY clan, even one full of premmie bases, can perform a war search and have some reasonable expectation of getting a match where, if their attacking skill is good enough, they have a mathematical chance of winning. Clan wars are one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game, and I think allowing the entire war system to transition to one of "everyone needs engineered bases strategically sprinkled throughout their clan" (which is the direction war is going currently) is HORRIBLE for the long term health of the game and player interest. No new players are gonna sign up for that ♥♥♥♥, and will quit by TH8 when they're tired of getting roflstomped by Grand Warden sporting defenseless accounts.
In my opinion, it is in supercell's longterm interest to reign in heavily engineered accounts to prevent war from becoming an exercise in spreadsheet operation rather than who attacks and DEFENDS the best. That or craft a system where they can match each other ONLY and trade perfect wars back and forth with their defenseless and no xbow TH11 accounts (they can all have 1000 tie streaks for all I care).
