OP War Strategy for TH8 (If there weren't enough)

I've been rocking the same troop composition for my TH8 account for the last 5 wars easily getting a six pack every time. I've hit every type of base you can think of: spread, compact, anti-3, anti-2, anti-dragon, anti-hog, etc.

I know TH8 is mostly irrelevant now and mass dragons/hogs can get the job done, but some people like trying new things.

Army

• ​Golem x 1
• Wall Breakers x 3
• Valks x 4
• Hogs x 20
• Wizards x 7
• Archer x 4 (For Builder Huts)

Spells

• Rage x 1
• Heal x 2
• Poison x 1

Clan Castle

• Valks x 3
• Poison x 1

Use kill squad to get cc and king. Funnel with wizards, rage those valks. Then, trickle in the hogs on spread bases or just spam them on compact bases.

Yep, I've been using it for ages—just not at TH8. I have some people in my clan struggling to 3 star with mass dragons at TH8. I made the video for them, so they can try something new.

If it's useful to anyone here, excellent. If not, no big deal.

I would still prefer mass hogs at TH8. I'm sure it could be useful for some, particularly if it were in the attacking strategies sub-forum.

Its more of a GoHo. It only has 7valks and hogs do the hard work :)

Those valks are always around at the end of the raid cleaning up. I'd say they put in some work!

Valks, the clean up guys ( gals ). Thats some mafia stuff they have going on :)

I use giant healer hog at th8 to save some DE and because I didn't unlock golems. You should make a video on that since the most recent is a year old.
