its very hard to know the offence value though as we dont know the answer. Unless you have a trick up your sleave?

Presumably the recommended target at start of war when nothing has been attacked is the one with the defence score closest to your offence. Once upon a time that did match what cocp.it stated for offence, but didn't seem to last time.

Since you already have it, get it to lv2. Lv1 can get zapped.

Just to re-iterate the above, in spAnser's own words recently :-

"The values are not inaccurate. They are the RAW values stored in the games logistic files. If there is some kind of modifier that is not stated in the files then no one knows exactly what it is. War weights have never been 100%"

I'd take it a step further and say that these numbers are almost worthless.

Clan war MM is almost certainly done on the server side so there is no reason for the client side to even posses this information.

When two clans go to war all the MM needs to know is the Player Tag for each member included in the war search.

The MM can then figure out the clan's weight in it's own little bubble.

I'm not saying for sure that SC does it this way but it would be overly complicated to have the client send the server any weight values when there is no need to do so.

i dont think i want to add more weight going a higher lv right now? Its probably quite a bit I would imagine.

I disagree. They didnt just make up random numbers and stick em in the code.

that might not be all accurate but we know the bomb tower probably is and Id guess the freeze spell is also huge and it gives us an idea of what we might want to upgrade.

Like I posted I got a guy in my wars that ranks higher than 2 other 9.5s with everything being pretty much equal, even him down 200 lv 10 walls to another because he has a second bomb tower lv 3 thats worth 1260 points to the average of only 750 points for 30 lvs of hero upgrades that the guy below has above his.

Alao the freeze spell and witches.... get the air d and teslas....

bomb tower more that xbows.

i dont care about exact weight... i care about making the mistake of upgrading witches or freeze or getting the 2nd bomb tower lol

If you're just looking at it for comparison then there is some potential value to extract, at least for defensive weights. Offense is pure speculation though. I've heard that max freeze adds about as much as 1/2 of an inferno tower, and it was from an extremely trustworthy source, but I don't know where he got that info...might have been from an elite player who just read it on spanser's site for example. However, if you want to be able to attack infernos then max freeze is pretty important. Maybe it's something that a new 9.5 would avoid, but as you get more comfortable with th10 war then you level up that freeze.

At least with defensive war weights we have a place to check for updates. For example, my xbow went to lvl 2 last night, but my war weight is still 61k. I've had a couple of small defensive upgrades since that xbow went to level 1, so I can at least conclude that going from lvl 1 to lvl 2 xbow is a whole lot less expensive than going from no xbow to lvl 1 xbow.

You can easily look at the inferno tower number and see a huge fault. It's very obvious from a MM perspective that 4 level 1 inferno towers in a war matchup weigh considerably more than two level 3 ITs. However if you went by the data posted it shows that 4 level 1 IT's weigh less.
