I think you can, but it takes like 4/5 lights, so usually worth it.

Better off zap quaking the ad, and use some tanking for the infernos
it would only destroy 1 inferno , and it would be difficult to take rest of the base with troops without spells ,,
am i right?
Better to freeze then rage troops on it.
