Yeah I second that discussing changes would have prevented much of the last 3 days, your young padawan with much to learn, but if you keep games like clash of the clans coming and developing them your the only company ill be playing and spend with.Quote:

Where I am now, I can not find enough resources in order to sustain more than a couple attacks. I've had to turn the game off accept the attack, take the shield, come back later just so I have enough elix to get in a few more attacks. Also at my level I get maybe a dozen or more "Can not find village to attack" every cycle. As well through those cycles I am very rarely finding a base with enough resources in order to pay for the troops for the next attack..
When I do find resources they're in a base nearly fully maxed out where I can't make it past the walls.
So, now, I'm forced with two choices, pay gems for elix so I can continue to raid, but in doing so I wont find enough gold to do anything with and thus just perpetuate the cycle. Or, sit for hours and chat, then attack once or twice and ultimately get bored, and or frustrated and turn it off to go do something else. Which in the long run will compel me to just delete the app and move on.
The facts are I refuse, to be maneuvered into a position where I constantly have to pay money that I bust my ♥♥♥ for to just throw at something and get no return out of it. What is the point?
Now, I am not alone. There are a ton of people out there that have never exploited or taken advantage of the system who were loyal customers to this company and it's product. In an attempt to even the playing field BECAUSE of exploiters, you have now crippled the very type of player you were intending to protect. I was low level, I was attacked by extremely higher level players that utterly destroyed me, and took everything they could... Under the previous system, I excelled, made my way to 1600 trophies with a lvl 8 town hall as it was. Now, I have no options...
So ultimately my question is this, how have you protected me, your legitimate consumer? How has this new system helped the thousands of people like me who roughed it out and clawed our way to the upper levels? What choices are you leaving us? Do you feel this system is fair to us and our reward for our work is to pay you more just to tread water?
My hopes are this, you will listen to your consumer base and hear the outcry. The previous system in your eyes may not work, but neither does this one. I want to keep playing this game, but I wont do so strictly out of pocket. Eventually I and thousands of others will leave and your name and image will be tarnished in the long run.
I would really appreciate a relpy from staff be it here or in PM. I've not yet put in for a refund of my money, but I have considered it.

Considering the current percentages which were already datamined and posted on the forums yesterday, finding and attacking a good town hall level 6 twice now would yield the same result as attacking one like it before the update. Given that you would have been attacking TH level 6 players before the update, you could now in theory achieve the same benefit with twice as much work. So in that sense, it's still possible to get loot from evne lower town halls, but it requires more work.
Also, the lack of matches and getting that message is a genuine issue, which we hope to address with upcoming improvements to matchmaking.

ive played fair and true and in 3 weeks with buying gems and long hours of play due to the frustration on my wife, I've got to a similar level as you by the sounds of it, I'm also in the small hole, waving but it's dark down here maybe you can see the whites of my eyes :rolleyes:
they tell us a fix is being worked on and we must take them at there word.
i have asked both supercell, apple and even contacted my bank to get my recent transactions back. Must stress not all but my recent ones as it is those this update has made obsolete, the gems to speed my town hall 7 and 8 upgrade basically. As that gem purchase has put me in the hole and if I'd have know this was coming I'd not have bought the gems or I'd have spent them differently. I'm glad to say iTunes reluctantly maybe have agreed to refund these charges. After all 3 days have past and more likely before update is ready my town hall would be level 8 by update launch if it already wouldn't be.
so I think I hope supercell would agree that in my case the refund is justified, please don't ban account ill spend it again if you fix this :) I promise :D. If your in this same situation I think you should apply to get some of your expenditure back.

people are moving up. My clan is an example. Last week 1 or 2 were over 1000 as the looting was better below. Now there are 20+ in the 1300+ range. The loot is coming, wait for it to bubble up. I myself am coming up for 780 2 days ago, I am up to 1500 and have seen lots of loot every attack.

Also, I'd like to add this.... Last weekend I played non stop for about 8 hours to get one million gold. This paid for my tesla.... I did it in one crunch because we all know very well if I tried to log out with that much I'd come back to nothing.
Now, the theory of working twice as hard turns that previous 8 hour grind into 16 hours..... 16 hours of play... Not going to happen... So what happens then... Say I log out in 8 hrs with 500k of my goal a lvl 60+ with a lvl 8 town hall will swoop in and take me for everything I have, thus wasting those 8 hours....
Taking these things into consideration how can you say this current system is working?
I'd also like to add, I've been playing today since 7:30 am... It's almost 1:30 here... So, 6 hours. In 6 hours, I have 194,888 gold, and 120,863 elix.... I've also bought 10% elix a couple hours ago with gems...
Food for thought. My account in game is the same as on here if you'd like to look at it and confirm what I've stated.
The example I made was of TH level 8 attacking TH level 6. In that situation the twice as hard works, but not in a situation your describing. Also, I wouldn't recommend trying to play 16 hours non-stop.Quote:

Also, when you log out with 500k, the enemy will not be able to steal the full 500k from you. Let's assume he'd steal 150k form you (which is alot to steal as you probably know), you would still be left with 350k the next day to start raiding with. Like I said, it's gonna take longer, but it is still possible.
