Long War win streaks doesn't mean they are easy wars

That would give the engineers a format to prove who is the best at that style of play. But they can also compete in the standard leagues. My compliments and respect to Golden Goblins who have left behind their seedier ways and are putting their money where their mouth is, and doing very well in fare and competitive matches.

Cwl? Yes they have some insane attackers...I have seen a few fails as well. Not taking away anything from cwl, let just say the goods clans that don't speak English are not figured there.
Beside, it is quite subjective to define of what is the 'best' clan out there...IMO, the ranking used by Cocp.it is solely based on quantitative metrics and therefore is as good or even better than CWL.

What is cwl? Are they closet carrot eaters that used to have very long impressive win streaks ,but after a certains SC update, they are no longer achieve those high win streaks anymore?

Maybe we could get the martians, United ,fdsk etc all to compete in next seasons CWL....against like for like bases, with like for like offence. Now that I would certainly pay to see. Hope springs eternal! 😀

once you get a triple digit streak of over a 100 compound difficulty please tell us.

Admitedly, bangkok doesnt get that much competitive wars as my clans, or cnafs, or the CWL, but their wars are pretty th10/11 heavy and thus harder. Harder than many anti-engineers i suspect here... much harder than yours too mister. loons are OP because th8 is too easy to 3 star even though thats always been the case

you dont get easy wins with just one or two engineered bases fyi ;)

I agree Skrags! If you had told me six months ago that I would be competing against Golden Goblins on a level playing field, I would have laughed at you. But they are here and they are doing very well. There is nothing stopping any other clan that wants to prove themselves from joining and experiencing true competition. GG has had nothing but good things to say and I expect any other clan's experience would be the same. One Hive Genesis is back now and will be competing once again.

Also, big shout out to Rachel for starting this conversation and giving us a platform for academic discussion, even if it has ceased to be an advertising event for her website. ;)

At what compound difficulty do you think engineering is most common?

Also, i would raise the RHL to 100+ imo. 80+ seems a bit low for uber-competitive clans

149.6 , thier best win streak of 51 ended around the day that SC announced Fair Play: Clan Wars Edition and I doubt that they will ever get near that number again.

Not to sound harsh but what engineer clans tell me is that "hey some or most of our members r not good attackers so I need to intentionally lower weight to gain more favorable matchups" plz tell me what other reasons there r to engineer other than to lower ur weight as much as possible? N thats fine if u want to play that way but stop making excuses n think what yall achieve is anything of respect for ur raiding n defending skills. The only skill involved is being able to skew war mm to ur advantage. There is no way around this fact. U have to be pretty dense to think engineer clans r comprised of skilled attackers. If so skilled they wouldnt have to worry about having the lowest possible weight no? As far as another nonsensical remark. Engineering takes skill. Uh.....whats so skillful about not ug def n only offense? Its a strat sure but defo not a skill. Its very plain n simple to c engineer clans do it 1.to win most of time 2. Cover up raiding weakness 3.make their war logs look pretty. Which is all fine btw bc its all within the rules. Just dont act the fool thinking yall achievements r worth being recognized n respected. Sorry if this sounded harsh but fact is fact unless u can come up with a logical counterargument (I doubt it tho but plz prove me wrong in my thoughts)

Once again, this thread isnt about the OP's engineered clan... its about high win streak clans that war at th9+...

also, i concede that engineering can be used to cover for lack of skill in some areas. for example, the engineered clan i run is just me and a few of my friends and their family and most are pretty young. we used to war with regular lineups but a lot of the guys are rushed and have bad attack skills, so me and a few of the more skilled guys, created some alts and engineered it a bit to counter the disadvantage we were ALWAYS at.

it has worked pretty well... usually our most skilled guys take out the hardest bases then leave the weaker ones for the worse attackers... but i suspect most clans do this anyways (engineered or not).

so basically we have a choice... war with brats that cant attack for their life and lose a lot then get discouraged or quit or change up our lineup to avoid mismatches and win more. What would you choose?
