The title says it all. All my defenses, walls, gold mines and storages will be maxed within the week. I'd like to move to TH 8 once my last Tesla is upgraded, but I'm still grinding for DE. My minions will be level 2 soon and my BK is level 3. TBH, I'm bored at 7 and I don't want to spend another week farming DE in the 1600 trophy range getting one starred by Preemie TH10's.
Can I drop cups and move on? Will the DE drill solve all my problems at TH8?

and in th8 you want to be chillin at around 1200-1300 cups. that is optimal until you get towards the end of th8.
i just moved to th9. and i still havent really worked on lab upgrades of DE troops yet
im real picky and max everything out but my bk and dark troops im not gonna upgrade till th8 cuz once you move up theres loads of elixr to raid and its easier to get all of it rather then lighting 500-700
I can vouch for that from experience. I'm at the end of TH8 and glad I didn't spend time on DE in TH7 aside from attaining BK. I'm farming 1-2k DE per attack at TH8, it's faster and easier to upgrade BK and DE troops with a drill and an upgraded army. Max what you can with gold and elixir, then move on!Quote:

The way i see it ull have plenty of time at th 8 to upgrade ur bk and do u even use minions or hog riders if not just move on

Dark Elixir is much easier to gain at TH8.
Yeah, at level 3 it's great as it can store enough to power some dark troops without bankrupting your DE stores, but it takes a while to get it up to that level - I did mine asap, but in retrospect would rather have delayed it slightly in favour of other elixer projects (like troop upgrades).Quote:
