guys guys.
our engineered advantage is negated by the fact that we are privelaged brats. We deserve easier wars than everyone else and rightfully so, the matchmaker takes that into account and we get lighter wars.
also to DL... upgrade faster... our max th10s are going to th11 soon.
try to get 3-4 th11 also for the war... im not going lower than 4. if you guys are ready faster, i may be able to do 3.
Update on a NON-engineered war... ummm, 30 v 30, we're up 79-17, 3 1/2 hours into the war. We're running through them like a hot knife through BUTTER. One of our th9's 3 starred their top two th9's WITHOUT A QUEEN, laloon. Said weeks ago that loons were OP, Im ahead of my time :) our baby th10 3 starred their th10 with laloon, hes not that strong, level 2 infernos max th9 defenses and the third level 3 xbow, but nonetheless, still a th10. And now they have 2 hopeless th9's left, that we're about to clean (with our th9's), and a th11 and th10. We got 4 th10 attacks left, and 3 th11 attacks left. All skill, no engineering. Good ole' American beat down. We're all in good moods in the chat, Im watching law n order, bout to make a cup of tea. A great evening on clash.

Updatw: just 1 starred their 1 with my th10. Used a weird attack Lok. 2 drag and 7 cc loons plus haste for funnel. Then valks around the base for percent. Should have tried for a 2 star though but oh well
We run either 30x30 or 25x25 depending on how many regulars are upgrading heroes; the 30 wars have more low fillers of course, and are also more variable, is my impression. (No hard numbers.) This last war was 25x25, and fair in my opinion:
For them: 1 th10.5, 4 th10, 0 th9.5, 7 th9, 2 th8.5, 6 th8.
For us: 1 th10.5, 2 th10, 4 th9.5, 1 th9, 9 th8.5, 1 th8.
Some random stuff to round out the bottom; theirs stronger FWIW.
[For simplicity my notation above lumps early bases in with intentional .5. So .5 simply means that next-level defenses haven't been dropped.]
9 infernoes and 28 xbows for them, 6/17 for us, defensive disadvantage.
3 valk5 attackers vs. 5 for us, offensive advantage.
Heroes and walls, ours stronger. We aren't close to max--in fact would be considered rushers by serious war clans--but certainly much better than their multiple bases with low-teens heroes and walls with no black in them.
We do prefer to have more offense than defense, just based on numbers: a good attacker gets two attacks and a good defender gets one defense.
And once again it is coming down to which side attacks better. And it's fun. Those two things are all I want from wars.
So far, we are doing better: they are leaving open stars all over the map, including on some of our 8.5 that really ought to go down to any decent ground attack. But they can turn it around with some good work from their top bases. Issue is in doubt. Again, exactly what I want from war.

War won 28-26. They had a good chance of winning but they made some poor attack choices (their 2 cleaned our mini max th8s and below) and poor layouts. Overall, i say the war was pretty fair and they really had a good chance.
Now, unto the 6th war which i must say is quite... strange
th11 40/41/20 th10, th9 defense, L3/2 infernos 10/10 heroes max th9 30/25 th9, max def. lil' over 10/10 th9.5 15/15 no th10 troops th9 sub 10/10 eng. th11 10/10/5. can triple most/all th9s th9 sub 10/10 mid th9 mid th9 sub 10/10 engineered th10, can triple all th9s low th9 sub 10/10 minimax th8 low th9 sub 10/10 engineered th7 low th9 sub 10/10 th3 th7 th3 th5
Verdict:Ill admit... very lopsided in our favour. They have a slight defensive advantage all around, but we have a big advantage where it matters. Prediction : 30-below 10
Update #7. War was won 28-23 Our top 2 forgot to do one attack each and one had queen down -_-. Th11 set down queen again, so war will be without him until he can gem it. Now, forward we go...

Verdict: Offensive advantage for us, defensive advantage for them. They have max th9 air for the most part and our bases are susceptible to it, so they have the potential to perfect us. Predicted outcome is 30-20ish unless we miss attacks again -_-
