Supercell PLEASE find a solution to roster engineering

Seriously though, why not just change the game to "Clash MY Way" because that's all you're asking for. Forcing people to play your specific way is going to make a large portion of the game quit. Supercell isn't in the business of making YOU personally happy, they're in the business of making money.
And in fact, if their business model and permissions for players make less than half the players angry but more than half the players happy and spending money then they're never going to change. I'd get used to it if I were you

Our lowest is a th7. Their bottom 2 are trash accounts. Our clans obviously weigh about the same, otherwise we wouldn't have been matched up. The mismatch is at the top, where their trash accounts took weight off. You lose at the top you're most likely losing the entire war.

Top 50% of the clan should hold approximately 90% of the weight. Top 75% of the clan should hold 99% of the weight.

it is totally ridiculous that you can toss th5s at the bottom & hide a th11. That's not playing one way or another, it's complaining about bad algorithms. OP should have asked for an algorithm change instead of th5&6 not warring.

What is your entire linuep? Just because your bottom is a 7 doesnt mean your balanced. If your running all 11s and 10s and throw a 7 down there arent u doing a less extreme version?

Leveling up? Learning to play the game? Filling a clan slot so that four players aren't forced to sit out?

For all you know, that TH3 could be a family member who just began playing. It could also be a second account of a maxed out player who wants to build up another account. It could be an attempt to "game" the system as you suggested - that doesn't mean it'll work. That village is a normal TH3 with defenses built. There's nothing abnormal about it at all and there are many reasons it could be there.

However, I haven't seen any evidence that adding a TH3 at the bottom of the roster is giving clans an unfair advantage. In fact, it's been my understanding that a matchmaking re-balancing that was implemented a while ago gives less weight to the bottom of the roster when pairing up teams. I'd be willing to bet that team could have put a TH7 at the bottom and still have been seen as a suitable match to your clan.
