How to get Fair and Competitive Wars, and Avoid Engineered Clans

So let me get this right if I may :-

A thread has been posted, which has taken data from the summer of 2016 onwards , and taken input from a wide range of experienced forum members, including maxers and successful engineers, some of which individually have literally 100's of wars to data mine.
In total probably 1000's of wars have been taken into account, from the viewpoint of 100's of clans of varying rosters and experience to formulate a helpful guide that "may" help the community in some way avoid matching engineers, and your response is :-

"Ive not gone tru the whole thread but the suggestions on page 1 can be safely ignored"

... and this is based upon, your current match, and we can "come and join the clan to see for ourselves".

I'm genuinely sorry if you are currently facing a tough match right now, but I hope you get my point here!

Their TH11 / TH10s are sprinkled tru out their TH9s. Which is not the issue. The point is that there is just no way of using some kind of setup for a normal clan to be able to not be matched up with engineers.

Ofcourse this is not the only match up where it is happening. It is happening more and more lately. Why would I post if this was only happening once?

And based on this sentence, the whole Clash community should therefore "safely ignore" the suggestions from page one, even though those suggestions have been discussed back and forth over months and months by an amazing range of experienced forum contributors, who've probably experienced 1000's and 1000's of wars during this time?

Oh I cannot speak for the whole community. But yeah, I would not recommend taking the suggestions serious. And that is what I am doing. I let others decide for themselves.

In that case, perhaps using wording such as "based on my own experiences recently, I don't find the suggestions made on page 1 particularly helpful, but I'd let others decide for themselves" would be a fairer interpretation of your posts?

rather than,

"the suggestions on page 1 can be safely ignored!", which suggests fact, rather than opinion!

Opinions from all members of the community are indeed encouraged!:)

This is spot on sooooo many people come on here spouting claims and facts based on just their experience within their clan and the minimal amount of wars they have been in. What people fail to realize is that the people on here have complied all of this data from lots of different clan types to see what the baseline trends are spread out across 1000s of wars.

You are probably right. Hopefully SC adds something in the game for us frustrated players to do instead of posting on the forums ;-) Like a mini game that calms down the nerves.

It is trivial to demonstrate the suggestions on page 1 are garbage. Same as the clash tutor suggestions. The only real solution to avoiding engineering that is factual is to run a roster where you bottom base is 91 weighted or higher.

Provide 1000s and 1000s of wars worth of data? you cant. game specialist maybe, math specialist? unlikely.
