I mastered lavaloon recently.. Ive been 3 staring maxed bases non stop. Its too easy. Are there any 3 STAR strategies for th9 (Baby dragon attacks arent what im looking for) other than lavaloon/ion? I want to master those as well, because air attacking is easy and different, unlike ground attacks, which is just HGHB and mass valks
"Mastered".
How about find a base with WT farms, tesla farms, single layer ADs and anti air CCs and tell us how it goes. As far as I know internet bases don't have these features.

Different? The only air attacks working on TH9 are Laloon variations, mass Baby Drags. Ground attacks are HGHB and mass valks? Please don't be as ignorant as the others looking for nerfs, there are a ton of ground attacks at TH9.

There are lots of th9 attacks that can work but many are base dependent. One of the members is my clan is pretty much the best attacker that I know, he always comes up theses crazy army comps and gets 3 stars on max th9s 90 percent of the time. Really enjoy watching his war attacks cause I never know what he going to come up with next.
Is war really that easy for you? I still spend a couple hours looking at a base thinking of the ways I can get the three stars. People on here make war sound so easy. Like you drop troops and 3 stars. Maybe I am a slow learner. But heck I love wars because of the failures associated with it. If it was so easy I would have gone to TH10.
All i do is lure cc with heros, kill cc, drop 2 hounds on 2 AD, spam loons, drop spells then place last cc hound. Easy 3 star every time.Quote:

GoHo is always a good one to practice, I personally love GoHo it's my all-time favorite. Kill squad of 2 golems 15 wizards 4 wbs 2 archers heroes and a rage then 18 hogs and 6 hogs and EQ in cc is my go-to strat but it depends on the base of u wanna go for a 3-star but that strat almost never gets less than a 75% 2-star

If you knew how to lavaloon before the update, i garuntee you're loving it now. It IS easy once you learn and master it. But so are valks, hghb, goho etc. once you learn it, it's not that bad. Of course there are always challenges and surprises that Can wreck your attack.
That said op, idk what exactly you're asking for. There's about a zillion lavaloon combos, and that's where the fun is for me, mixing it up between penta, queen pop, gobolava...

Air isn't as OP as everyone makes it out to be, especially at TH9, it was just a nice buff.
TH9 can be compared to TH10 without an inferno and a bit lower DPS, not a direct comparison, but comparison nonetheless.
The queen still can wreck an air raid.
The Air Defenses and Wiz Tower, not to mention the Freeze Trap (ATM) can ruin your raid. Not to mention the other traps, X-bows with their higher damage compared to last year pre Air Sweeper, speaking about that, the Air Sweeper is also critical in this, CC troops of Bab Dragons and wizards would ruin air raids to hell and back, not to mention even a full archer Cc can do damage to loons and hounds.
Let the meta catch up, for all of the complainers 9-11, you are too used to ground attacks with the grounded X-Bows, exposed air defenses and all of the rusted old materials. I for one and excited to see the challenges in base designs later on as the game progresses to deter troops like balloons, Miners, Bowlers, Pekkas, Hogs, Witches, and all of that (assuming half of those will be brought to their former glory).
Mass Drag is still viable but you wouldn't three star with it without overpowered Ballons.

Well of course drags with zapquake don't work on every base or most bases. It's an option for the guy to practice with. Fun comp whenever you get to use it. Also another ground attack that is fun is a golem waterfall. That works pretty well on them old bases with voids in the centerQuote:

You didn't even have to pull the CC on this base. :confused::confused: At times, you will find CCs that are hard to pull with loons or just hard to pull in general. And they often contain something (like wiz, drag, etc) that will stop your raid cold. Post some of those attacks, like a series of them
I highly doubt you 3* every single time, as we all make mistakes, to say nothing about the whole, "spam" loons comment, which is just plain dubious, if not outright silly
