Just wondering if I made a big mistake on upgrading my TH so fast. Also, what is a good league catagory for me?
So here is the go:
LEVEL: 38
TH: 9
Walls: 5
Barracks: 3-7
Archer / Wizards: 6-7 / 2-3
Other Defenses: 3-5

Ok good, you are TH8 not 9. Yes it was a bad mistake, but you can recover from it. DO NOT upgrade to townhall 9. I would start farming around 1300?
Yes, you are very premature for your town hall level (8, not 9 btw).
Whatever you do, stay at this town hall level until every one of your defenses (including walls) are maxed out. Max your troops while you're here also.
You could be in worse shape, so don't be discouraged. Just raid often and pick up a good farming base layout from the different threads. I recommend pingfao's tesla theme park.

big mistake theres no rush to get to the top people dont understand that yea theres more to upgrade but where you gonna get the money to upgrade when your getting 3 starred every hour and u cant ever attack anyone.you can stay where your at now and max your base out but imo i would just start over it would be alot easier and you wouldnt lose much either
1400 is good for easy farming and yes it's very premature
I'm TH8 as well, that base of urs aint that bad. You still save it. Aim better loot for farming at 1400-1590, else if you're not strong enough go for 1200-1390. And also, get your wall up to level 8! You got long way ahead.
It's pretty annoying knowing that I upgraded way to soon. I think my goal from here on is to upgrade everything possible to the lvl that the TH is, and just keep it all equal as I go through the lvls higher.
I deffinately wont be starting fresh, way to much time and effort here already.
I finally finished my setup and I admit it works a treat. Also I think I have been pretty lucky as I rarely ever get traded, let alone by good attackers so yea. Looks like I have a few months of upgrading infront of me. YAY!

yeah dude you upgraded to early, but you can recover..
just so you know, I have a total of 170 troops all level3, and I know for a fact that I would destroy half your base, including your townhall before your defenses could stop me, and im a maxed out th6. now I know I am a lower level than you, but I don't think its a good idea to have both air defenses on the same side, or on the edges. good thing you are redesigning your base!!

You can recover easily bro. Just farm. Nice base btw. The redesigned one. Oh, and keep the wiz inside the walls as they are the most important defenses when protecting your storages. Goodluck!:)
