Talking bout 9.5's

Since i became a new TH10 with max TH9 defenses and walls and 25/25 heroes, i would like to here your thoughts to my plan going 9.5 according to my priority list:

1) Spell Factory
2) Laboratory
3) Clan Castle
4) Army Camps

Since i didn't drop any new buildings, walls, traps or resource buildings, i should count as a max th9 further on i guess. Also i started maxing my existing walls, because i don't want to upgrade my defenses because of the war weight.

My Questions now are:

a) What should i upgrade in the laboratory firstly? Valks, Golem, Hogs for War or Giants, Barbs and Archers for farming?
b) Should i upgrade my consisting traps or will it effect my war weight massively?
c) Any recommedations left? So let me know! :)

Do all traps new and old, go ahead and max them.

Lab, valks first. Then depends what you want to do.

Bowlers 2 would be good.

Any one of Giants, Hounds, Hogs, Freeze, Baby Dragons, Golem, Pekka can be good upgrades, some are better for cleaning 9s, others better for hitting 10s

I did one dark barracks upgrade before camps in order to unlock bowlers. Then in the lab I did hog6 followed by bowler2. When it comes to dip attacks, though, bowler2 is just icing on the cake. So far my farming remains fine; I do QW into gob knife and just mass gobs when AQ is down.

The big question dominating my 9.5 planning is at what point will my offense be advanced enough that I start drawing full 10s? When I eventually do drop infernos, I don't want to be one of those easy TH10 with TH9 defenses; I want to be hard to 3 star. So I plan to go ahead and upgrade my existing defenses alongside maxing my heroes. I'm not concerned about the small amount of war weight that will add.

Careful with this one - giant bombs weigh 150 per level, which is slightly less than 2 point defence levels.

I really appreciate your thoughts and opinions, b/c they really help me to get along with this.

So i decided to level the valks at first, followed by the hogs and currently i'm saving dark for the hounds 3 for the next lab upgrade. but i'm unsure to upgrade either the minions or golems, cause nowadays i farm and attack in war with cb golalo with some minions in the back for clean-up in champs.
The extra spell makes beating 9's with this strategie really easy and i sure can 2-star low level 10s with a small success rate to 3star them.

I will stick to the plan and wont build any new buildings, traps or walls. so after the dark troops upgrades in the lab i can focus on the heroes for the 40/40 grind.
guess i will finish the traps, new ressource buildings and walls at 35/35 and drop the infernos at 40/40 and max walls.

i'll keep you guys updated and look forwards onto your thoughts!

Definitely do bowlers after hounds, or at least as soon as you unlock them. They are a must have for hitting a decent amount of th10 bases, which youll soon start seeing more of. Baby drags are also very, very good at level 4.

go upgrade all existing defense to the max of th10, even th10 max offense will hardly 3 stared you even w/o IT. also suggesting add the extra cannon and archer tower together w/ 3rd xbows then max them. If all of this done just rush to th11 and get the warden and additional cannon and archer tower. Now your offense become th11 and you still sit at lower th10 with it.

Dark barracks ASAP, with bowlers > 2 in lab. Post update valks have kinda lost steam, and laloon and bowlers are much more viable. After bowlers do Hounds4 and Loons7.

I recently upgraded to th10 and building it according to 9.5 idea.

Have some questions for more experienced people:
1) War army combination? I have success with gova approach and already maxed valk, golems in progress.
Should I do bowlers to lvl2 next or try drags+ light lvl7?

Tricky question cause I have good experience with gova, and bowlers seems good but spend DE.
However mass drag + 4 lights looks interesting. Takes elexir which I need so far for army camps upgrades.

2) Existing D. I do teslas, wiz tower double upgrade looks good?
What else could I do next without affecting my weight?

3) Finally base design...Should I build walls? probably no.
In this case my main q would be about war base. Keep unbeatable anti3 or try to rebuild it for anti2 by th9 maxed?
The issue is that any strong th9 would 2 star me, very hard to 3 star. As th is almost outside its not a big deal to 2 star...
Or is anti 3 vial strategy for th9.5 path?
