Game centre achievements? Possibly some screenshots you have on your device?
Not within the game, no. Just external stuff as Micheallo said. I even had Apple helping to try to find out...they sent a couple of suggestions but they didn't work. In the end I just had to wait patiently until my 2 year Deco arrived :)
Obviously you don't want to do that if you need it to get something done with SC and you need your start date!
If you made a diamond purchase thru apple and know about how long you had been playing when u made the purchase. It kind of narrows it down. Apple support will send you a receipt for your first purchase with the date. Also if you still have gamecenter look under the achievements. First one should be egg collecting. That will give you a more accurate date. Can you check thru iTunes when you downloaded the game? I never tried that option but I think it was mentioned here somewhere in the past.

You should find it by clicking on the house and pressing the little badge. I found the more recent ones completed were at the top so I scrolled down and checked the achievements like collecting 12 eggs as that would have been completed pretty early on.
Strange, but my house doesn't have that little badge. And I tried going to GameCenter within the settings on my iPad, but it didn't give an option to see any achievements.
What I did find worked was if you go to the house, and click on the "challenge a friend" at the bottom of board that shows the achievements, you can then scroll do one of what would have been one of the first finished. Tap on the one that is a 1 point of say the egg achievement and it will tell you the day that you received it.
I don't like that Game Center has gone by the wayside, but I do have to say that I love the new in-game Friends Book.
I found out by checking the date I downloaded the Hay Day app from the app store.
daz, I have iOS 10. Please try my suggestion. I went back to be sure I explained as well as I could. I can see the dates I earned any one of the first 99 achievements by using the "challenge a friend" banner at the bottom of the achievement board in the farmhouse.
I couldn't do it through iTunes, nor could Apple support.
I don't have that badge - maybe it's Android or FB. I don't have either of those.
Apple? I couldn't. Nor could Apple.
I can see them - but somewhere along the line something odd has happened and a whole bunch of them are showing at 4 April 2015, when they were done Dec 2014.
The "challenge a friend" does not appear on my board.
Many of my early achievements show the same date, which was the first date I used Google Play, having seen information about how to save my farm. That date was in March 2014, but around the time I started playing there was a Halloween event happening, so the start date could be around six months earlier.
This worked, thanks. I didn't even know the badge was there until you pointed it out. I got the date, 10th September I started.
And yeah guys, this is an Android thing. I have a Samsung phone and I can see the badge, clicked on it and saw all my achievements and what date I got them in starting from most recent.
Glad you found it! +1 to Android!
This did not show the correct date to me for some reason. Don't know why. It showed some date in 2015. The correct date is 11.3.2013 and it's shown in my purchase history on iTunes.
Edit. I can see that I've completed the first egg challenge on the same date, so it confirms the correct date. :)
Hi, I would like to clarify why Game Center or Google Play doesn't show the accurate day when you started playing Hay Day.
It is simple, they are not meant to.
The day recorded by Game Center (iOS) or Google play (Android) is the day those application detected a new achievement unlocked in your game. It requires at least 2 simultaneous conditions:
- you log in with that GC / GP
- you unlocked the achievement
Often, the first condition is not met and that's when you notice a difference of the date. For example, I started playing first on iOS without Game Center until I found out how useful it could be thanks to the forum. I logged in GC the first time a few weeks after I started playing: GC unlocked a few achievement on that same date. Then I switched to Android and has no longer access to iOS. When I logged in on Google Play, all my achievement so far appeared unlocked at once, several months later from when I started.
The point is, if you don't link your game to Google/Game Center on the first day you played, the day is not accurate.
Another concern when you rely on the first day you downloaded the game from AppStore or PlayStore, you need to start playing the same farm non stop from that day without restarting the game (create a new farm), and it has to be from the account you used to download the application for you to check (I mean, not your friend using his credentials to download the game for you). Otherwise, the download date won't help you much. Well, it only gets complicated when you share device with friends/family members or change device and change account.
Back to the thread, is there any accurate way to know your start date besides reading your diary? - It depends on how you interact with the game. What works for someone else might not work for you.
When you update the game for the first time, often there could be some details (an event, a seasonal theme, a feature, a bug, an interaction on forum...) you will remember for a long time. So what is it? You can track hay Day update history (with date!!) and estimate your starting time.
That would be my best guess + cross checking from other information to narrow the year/month/day when possible.
