Golden Hog Gang - growing slow & strong

Background

We are the Golden Hog Gang, a level 8 clan with a plan. We currently have 38 members, mostly TH9 and TH8. Wars won 109 & wars lost 96. Clan tag YPVOQRPC

I started this clan a year ago because I wanted to do things the right way, not necessarily the easy way. This meant getting clan members to max their bases, always welcoming new players, helping with war strategies and encouraging the clan to constantly develop. Whilst we were finding our feet we lost a lot of wars, however, we have now turned that corner and our win ratio in the last 50 wars is 75%.

We are mainly adults and would be looking for grown ups. We are based in Canada, the US and UK. English is our language.

Donations & requesting

All members are encouraged to request frequently, raid and upgrade. Players stipulate whether a request is for war, raiding or practice. To meet the troop demands every team member is asked to donate unselfishly and I have an account with max donation troops to ensure we have the best of all troops at hand.

Wars

Our big focus is war, 2 battles during the week, 1 at the weekend and 1 day off. The first war during the week is usually TH8 and lower, the second war during the week is th8 and up and the weekend war is a mixed larger war with all levels. This has ensured we get even match ups (for the large part). We issue a war plan and expect people to follow it unconditionally. Everyone is also required to use both attacks and always put the clan first.

We do not trophy push as a clan but always support clan members who do. We also support a handful of farmers. We promote based on loyalty, activity and commitment.

Where we are heading

I would like to grow the clan at the higher levels, i.e. TH10 & TH11 and am looking for players that can hold their own in war and will contribute to the clan in general. We always listen to what others have to say and are looking to improve so welcome people's ideas and opinions.

In time we want to re-ignite or start an affiliated clan which can help recruit, train and share players or ideas with the main clan. This clan will require it's own leadership. I am not adverse to using a clan website to help organise and run the clan, so any experience welcome.
