The leader gets banned or whatever the consequences are, then the leader will come here and moan / rant / cry while protesting their innocence.

We ask them to remove reporting from global chat and guess what they do for us... Exact opposite lol
Can someone in "authority" create a sticky explaining the report button in the clan chat?
I am not a fan of the in-clan report feature. I see the potential for abuse and subversion within clans and i would like a formal explanation from supercell on what occurs when this button is used by an inclan member, what scrutinity is being done by support to ensure that something is actually report worthy before action is taken, and what the resulting actions are. For example, people visit clans for social reasons, end of season tournaments, arranging wars, even visiting a team you lost to or their members visit after losing to your team. As a clan leader, do i need to have stranger-danger alert on high and not let new people into the clan in case someone decides to do malicious reporting of my clan members? if i speak to a clan member about donations or other matters in a non abusive way and they dont like the message, am i or my management team at risk for some sort of ban?
i think this is a huge detriment to the social aspect of the game. Until i hear from supercell im very reluctant to visit other clans, or allow unknown people in my clan. Our clan operates on the principle of respect your teammates. and im already very untolerant of any sort of non-respectful behavior or actions between clanmates. This function feels very unnecessary and very risky for clans. I hope to hear the explanation and also assurances that there will be due diligence in investigations and not some auto-bans imposed arbitrarily.
Relax people. Your leaders arnt gonna get banned for no reason. Jus because uve been reported doesn't mean u actually did somthing and will be banned. I agree this is a usless feature and I don't see a point other then harassment on clans that have been around for years who like to speak to each other how they wish. The report button is rediculous in global nevermind in clans. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. If u d9nt like what your reading in clan or global then leave.
I also would like further clarification on this matter. I cannot see how this will be a good option within a Clan that recruits. If a new member is able to report ranked members of a Clan, this will only lead to abusive of the system. Thus reducing communication within a Clan. People who care about their Clan will be too afraid of speaking out to new members in case they receive a ban.
Report button a big no. We are always cursing each other in chat. Don't want to get reported by kids lol.
