Use a messaging app. Though there are probably TOS as well that could get you in trouble (banned account lol) if you abuse someone. Really not much different.

Nope. We will just continue to be ourselves in chat as we always have. If supercell wants to ban a bunch of old men for playing the game as we always have then I can't stop them. But I will not go quietly into the night lol.

If what Beast is saying is true, it is very disconcerting. For Supercell to impose a ban without evidence is outrageous. I would encourage every clan leader to let Supercell know your opinion on this matter, and spread this to all leaders so that they may do the same. This change was not divulged in the update and people need to be aware of how this may affect their clan.

Is it automatic report/ ban system like global reporting?

What is the consequence of a positive report? Ban from game or chat?

It would be nice to have a real answer, even a condensed version, to how this works and not just a standard "refer to TOS" reply.

SC Support have stated that they do have evidence - "We have the clear evidence and the proof that you have used the inappropriate words in the clan chat".

Beast has not said what the message(s) that were reported by their clanmates actually said, just that they sent a clan mail to ask their clanmates to report them. Their clanmates will have then had to find a chat message from Beast to report.

Any clan message that is not censored could be used against him. If you want to make the clan chat pg-13 then it is the death sentence of a req n go clan. We will see.

- No it doesn't result to any automatic action like on global chat.

What is the consequence of a positive report? Ban from game or chat?
- There is no ticket/case created by the use of report button. Any inappropriate behaviour still need to be reported (preferably with screenshots) to in-game Support via Helpshift.

What about those adult only clans that swear like mad truckers and constantly talk about politics (which always end in huge arguments) will they get banned from clan chat?

basiclly what I am asking is, if they get banned once it's temporary and if it's twice it gets longer and longer until its permanent?

Everyone in my clan is very friendly towards each other. I Think this could be a problem in random clans or with new members.

Beast, as I said, I asked staff to check whether your ban is related to the report button and their answer is negative. You asking your clanmates to report your message did not result into your current in-game ban. That is a matter between you and support.
